Replace the automated phone system they have, it is impossible to get anyone to help you by phone. I just spend a very frustrating 10 minutes getting no help at all. I was connected to several people, none of which helped.

We purchased LVP flooring with installation back in June. Prior to our installation date, we received a call saying the charge had not gone through so they needed to reprocess the charge. The next thing we knew there were 2 charges on our Home Depot account. We contacted the store and they told us to contact credit services as they would have to process the refund. Don't try calling them. They will never answer the phone or they will answer and hang up. Pre Covid19 they already had poor customer service and I understand that things are different right now. And I do not expect things to happen as "normal." But, when HD's HQ is pushing for curbside pickup and the phone rings for no exaggeration here, 20min. How is that even possible? It has not happened just once to me, it has happened 3 times since March. Employees always have an attitude and body language always shows that questions are inconveniencing them.

I have always shopped at Lowes but I must say your garden area is so much nicer and easy to move about. Also the plants look like they are better taken care of. Will be back for sure

We came to Home Depot for lights in our new construction. We knew Home Depot had many options with decent prices, but the shelves weren't stocked and they didn't even offer contractors discounts. We talked to about 6 representatives and 4 of them looked uninterested, they were slow, not helpful and they just passed the task on to someone else. It's been over 2 hours and they just now thought to ask to open a contractors account which won't be very helpful unless we spend over 1,000 dollars. In construction every dollar counts... but Home Depot doesn't seem to want to help in any way.

I ordered 9 interior doors to be installed by this Home Depot, if all goes well, which it hasn't so far the two remaining doors in this order will hopefully be installed a month from this writing. It will then be, get this, 9 months since the date of my order. Two doors went back two times because of poor quality, the last time the install service sent it back as soon as it arrived. You would think that the people who process orders would have some consideration and get this expedited with the install company but they tell me that all they can do is "request" the install company. As if the rest of HD is at the mercy of the company they hire, the people that actually provide service to the customer. There is no project organization in this company, the guy who takes your order is merely shoveling a piece of paper to the next group. Even though it should have been well known that I'm getting HD to install, their order process does not even know that, it will keep sending you reminders to pick up the order while you are waiting for the installers to become available. I've reached the conclusion that they just don't care.

You guys need better self check out attendants. The one there this morning was a skinny younger girl and extremely rude. She made unnecessary comments and made us realize why we go to Lowe's.

Very disappointed in their delivery service and the surly Appliance rep. We ordered a stove and was told it would be delivered in 3 days and we were very excited as were were to go on vacation soon after. I took the day off from work and early in the morning the website said it was scheduled for delivery, but I had not received a call the evening before. I called to double check and found out the stove had not been received and would not be delivered. No call, nothing. Ok, I scheduled a new date 10 days later(even though they said they could deliver soon) as we were going on vacation and wouldn't be able to do it earlier. "Sure fine that will work," they indicated. I thought the extra time would give them the opportunity to make sure it was in. But, just in case, I called the day before the 2nd scheduled delivery date. After struggling with their automated phone service for almost 10 minutes I finally got hold of someone. Home Depot said sure it was scheduled for delivery, but I was on their website double checking at the same time and called their delivery phone number. They told me the order was canceled. Couldn't find a record of it being delivered to the delivery service. Meanwhile I am on the phone with both, the GE Liaison (who I found out was the person from the HD appliance delivery service phone# linked to the HD website.) And at the same time HD. I explained to HD rep their website phone number indicated the stove was canceled. Seems like major confusion and possibly mistruths by both. GE rep was kind and patient trying to assist me to no avail. GE rep said they didn't have a record of the order being delivered and that none would be available until the the next day. Home Depot was surly. They said the item was delivered to the delivery service, but didn't have enough time to make it on the truck. They wouldn't be able to deliver until 3 days later. What??? Seems like major confusion and the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing. It feels as if someone is telling me mistruths. Meanwhile, 1700$ later of them holding my money, earning interest and another out of town work related trip put on hold.Maybe third time will be the charm.

Worst customer service ever!!! Will NEVER shop there again!!! Purchased a brand new refrigerator that took over 2 weeks to be delivered and then was installed improperly and now sounds like a jet engine taking off in our house when it is running. Tried to call for 2 weeks to get someone to come and fix it only to be placed on hold for 30 minutes + at a time each time. Big box home improvement in rock hill. The Home Depot has pretty much everything you need in the area of home improvement. The only problem I have is the knowledge of the staff. It's a pot luck finding someone that might be able to answer your question if you have one. On my latest excursion I was in the market for a garage door opener. I wanted to have it installed, which is a device that they advertise. Unfortunately customer service did not know how this was accomplished and directed me back to the door service area. Once I arrived back to that area, this associated also did not know and went to look for someone. He came back after not finding a more knowledgeable associate and made a call. The person on the other line gave him step by step instructions which took quite a while. After he was finished he directed me back to customer service. When I arrived there was only one associate working customer service and quite a line. At this point I was about an hour an a half in and not willing to wait another half hour to see whether or not customer service could help me. So unless you know what your looking for and don't need someone else to install it, I'd steer clear.

Well this is the last time I order a major appliance from The Home Depot. They told me my new refrigerator would be here today, then when it didn't arrive and I called them, they said it just arrived in the warehouse today. Then they told me it wouldn't be able to be delivered until the 26th, but I can call the store where the purchase was made to see if they would be willing to pick it up and deliver it. I called the store and they said they don't do that. After speaking with the manager, I finally got a new delivery date of the 22nd. I'm so pissed off, but what can I do about this point? I have to have a refrigerator.

I ordered over $1600 of large items online and shipped to this location. When I came by to pickup, they could not find it.... I've been waiting for an 1 1/2 now.... these are large items -- how can they get misplaced.?!! I would say the workers are nice... but how do you just not keep track of customer orders.?!!

If you have any issues dont hesitate to go to customer service. They are amazing! I wont ever shop at another home improvement store
