The only bank ill ever bank at....the best people who really do care and take care of you..The other people have left bad reviews apparently have attitude problems or something, been there 15 years and they go above and beyond every time

ASB is not the bank it once was. This review is for its name-sake. I have banked at ASB all my life and use to wait on its founder General Harry Arthur at a local grocer where I worked. For years now ASB online features weren't the best. The most critical part is the lack of technical support for its online access. I know a little about this because I am a support technician. Recently ASB made some account access changes. I followed their procedures online but could not gain access to my accounts. I called the Union and Roebuck branches and requested help but nobody returned my calls. Last year I messaged the bank for help and was given a long distant number to call in a neighboring county. No 800 number and no help. Since I am an educated technical guy I was eventually able to figure out what was wrong. Today my statement shows a new $2 Paper Statement Fee. Most banks don't charge for that. ASB uses my high ledger balance for free and gives nothing in return. Their fee schedule says they charge $5 or $3 for email statements. I like having a copy of my statement to reconcile and have a permanent record. Your home computer will crash leaving you with no statements sooner or later. Also, ASB will not give an 18 year old an account without a parent being listed as an account holder. It is time to find another bank and you should too.

They probably were good in their day 1930's. Having had banking services in Ohio, Sc, Arizona, Fla. Pa. I have dealt with at least 40 Banks over the yrs. being in business. Arthur State could never survive in a Modern World Environment. In closing, It's a pain to change banks because everything is AUTO Pay. But everyone has their limit. On a scale of 1-10.--5

The staff are very friendly and helpful, and this bank is super easy to work with. If you want the personal touch that's really missing in banking today, come check out Arthur State Bank. I am particularly satisfied with this branch and their excellent service.
