Mrs banner & her staff were so great with both of my kids ! Both of them have grew so much since starting here . I’m thankful they had such patient & understanding people to care for them ❤️ I’m only switching daycares to get them closer to home but I wish I could have had both of them stay here. Thank you guys for everything you’ve done for us !

only issue i had was i was not allowed to tour the daycare at all , i wasn’t even allowed to walk passed the door … i wasn’t impressed with that then my child refused to go in on 5 th day screamed & cried … The people were really nice to us. That were there. I just didn’t like the fact that I couldn’t see the place.

My daughter currently attends The Harmony House CDC and the only thing I can say is WOW. My daughter had never been in daycare until she was already 3. I was so worried of how she would interact being that she was a little behind on most things. She is also a little stubborn and had a very small attention span and to be honest I was so worried she would frustrate the care givers and they would eventually give up on her. That is not what I have seen. Mrs Banner and the employees are some of the kindest, most professional people I have met. They are extremely patient with my daughter and let me tell you... She has come so far from where she started. Within the first two weeks there was a major improvement in speaking, potty training, interactions, listening etc. My daughter is now a whole new person.The Harmony House CDC is amazing and very very trustworthy. I am so thankful they were the first place my daughter was able to grow in. My little girl loves them and so do I. To Harmony House, thank you so much!

We love Mrs. Banner so much, she has taught both my girls and has prepared them for their continued education. So much so that my oldest daughters 4k teacher told me that everything they have tried to teach her she said she already knew because Mrs. Banner taught her that. We are truly grateful for Harmony House!

In my personal experience, this is one of the most unprofessional CDC's I've ever known. You must acquire a passion and harbor a special type of love in your heart to be in business with kids. In my opinion, not only are they unprofessional, they are rude and greedy, they have no tolerance and no compassion for your kids. I'll never refer anyone to take their child. In fact, I encourage you to go elsewhere. FACTS! There are more unprofessionalism behavior but God will handle them.

My son started at Harmony House in July of 2023. I was initially excited about my son starting here due to the fact that the owner/director, Mrs. Banner, appeared nice and presented the facility as "Christian-based and structured similarly to regular school." However, the experience was completely opposite. Mrs. Banner and the man named "Mister" (his demeaner, ego, and aggressive tone/behavior gave me a clear revelation of why he is called by such a stigmatic title)...they are under some type of ridiculous paranoia regarding black people, especially black boys. It's always "today's society with black this/black that..."
If your child is accustomed to affection/love, not a robot and, not easily intimidated by "Mister", the owners will criminalize and sexualize everything they can regarding your child. We were told that our toddler would "be a father by 12 years old," "He runs everywhere and he plays aggressively, so get that in order before he becomes a target for cops," "Boys don't put their hands in their pants for comfort. That's not normal. That's taught," "He is mannish and I don't get paid nearly enough to deal with that." I learned more about how many degrees "Mister" has and that he wishes that he would have given me the tour at the daycare, so that my son would have never been enrolled. He is extremely off-putting, ugly-spirited, unreasonably judgmental, cocky, and demeaning. He has Mrs. Banner on a very short leash/under his thumb. At the meeting she dared to speak on presenting the daycare as a Christian facility and he threatened, "I WILL WALK RIGHT OUT OF THAT DOOR IF YOU DEFEND WHAT WE DO HERE!" She quickly closed her mouth the remainder of the meeting. All of his yelling and beating on the desk, during business hours, to prove a pointless, asinine assumption about who my child will grow up to be.
In conclusion, neither of them could comprehend that a 3-year-old is a toddler FIRST and toddlers will behave like toddlers, not men/women. No matter the race. They do, however, need capable unbiased professionals who can operate in consistency, compassion, and correction until they get acclimated with the standards being implemented.
I'm sure "Mister" will read and respond to this with his cocky rebuttal, so just know that knowledge (or as you said your "highest degree in the room") does not mean you have or exercise wisdom and your warped mindset is going to set both of you back as leaders and black business owners, at some point.
It's people like you that makes it a turn-off to give a black-owned business a try.
Seek therapy. Find peace. Upgrade your character. Stop victimizing black people and creating false narratives.
Then, be blessed.
Maybe your mindset and talents can be more useful at a correctional facility instead.

Do Not Recommend very unprofessional. Miss Banner became offended and upset because I asked about assistance with a matter in regard to my son. That somehow became a conversation on me being late on a $15 payment amongst other things. Very unprofessional woman.

They seemed to always have some issue with my son everyday.
Whether he was “throwing tantrums”
Getting hurt or in their words “causing issues” we were also in the middle of potty training and they didn’t seem to be concerned about helping him. Always had an issues saying oh he has an accident on my carpet and I had to clean it. I took him out and over to bo peep and have had no behavioral issues AT ALL. My son has adhd and seems to me that just didn’t wanna deal with him.

This CDC is truly amazing! I highly recommend Harmony House! Their staff seems to be patient, understanding, & caring. These are rare qualities now-a-days in the CDC circuit. Once again I have nothing but high praise to speak of this establishment

This is the best daycare ever...a hidden gem! My child has learned so much since being with this center for the past year. He is even teaching me things. LOL. They are excellent teachers and really care about their students. They have really been a blessing. (especially since the pandemic began). I'm soooo glad I found this center. Thank you Mrs. Banner and the Harmony House staff.
