Devils Fork State Park is an absolute gem and beautiful campground set in the scenic mountains beside the gorgeous Lake Jocassee. The lake has extremely clear and deep water, perfect for boating, swimming, or kayaking, though visitors should pay attention to stormy weather. The park provides excellent access to the lake, with boat tours available. The campground itself is pretty and peaceful with shady spots, but it is a little beat up with a very narrow and horrible loop road; sites can be hilly and not level. While the campground needs some upgrades and books up fast, it remains a special and breathtaking place where everything is clean and friendly.
This lake is so clear and beautiful and, best of all, no gators! The state park is also beautiful with a great hike.

Really pretty rv camping but it's a little beat up. The loop road is horrible and very narrow. Fairly hilly and the sites are not level. Just about maxed out our leveling system on our 5th wheel. Lots of trees down since the hurricane. Still, this is our 2nd visit and we would come back.
