He never showed up and my dryer still doesn't work. He diagnosed my problem by text message and said my vents were stopped up. How he knew that from 30 miles away is beyond me. Whether it's my vent or my dryer itself, I needed a repairman to make my dryer work. He was rude and refused to come. I have his text messages on my phone to prove it. I still cannot use my dryer. I am 73 years old and I paid good money to have a home warranty service, only to have them recommend this man as a repairman. I still need a working dryer, and I need a repairman who can do what it takes to make that happen. Don't ever send this man to me again.

Used Sears Home Warranty process to fix a gas water heater that was replaced with a new one in 2018 by one of their service providers. They refused to authorized a replacement water heater, which malfunctioned recently and needs to be replaced according to the different service provider they now use. They cited reasons including that the previous replacement was not installed properly (by the service provider they used) and that any repair or replacement costs must be paid for by us. They informed us that they do not use the previous service provider now. So, basically they do not provide warranty on service and appliances that they indirectly installed. So we wasted our money paying for a service warranty contract (for over 8 years) that they will not honor. Their advertised service is a SCAM. DO NOT purchase their warranty service.
