What a beautiful location to hold a family reunion. Very beautiful site with various indoor locations and covered space, horse shoe spot, pond, as well as a hayride around the property. Would recommend for any occasion

If you are looking for an amazing place to host an event, this place is incredible. Perfectly manicured and has a set up for most events. I would highly recommend The Farm.

This place had amazing scenery and wonderful people. This restrooms were well taken care of, and everything else was free to creative design for me and my family. Would definitely recommend for event or wedding planning. The one picture I had is really bad but, it really is an amazing plot of land, and is just beautiful.

We thoroughly enjoyed the venue. We could see solar lights being put in the trees to make it easier to see the way. A brighter light by the entrance sign would be an awesome help for us seniors, too.

My experience with Hopkins Farm was the best experience! From the start, Carol was amazing and gave us a wonderful tour of the venue and I was impressed with her professionalism and punctuality. Carol was always very helpful and nothing short of amazing. Everything with our wedding went amazing and I’m so happy that we chose this venue to have our wedding. The venue does offer a food service and Agnew and his team did amazing on our dinner and went above and beyond. Thank you Carol, Agnew, and the rest of your team for making our big day extra special!!

The main house was built by John Hopkins in 1840 and is still owned by his decedents to this day. The property though, goes back to the beginnings of Greenville's history. The American Revolutionary Battle of Cane Break was fought on the land in 1775 and was also used by militia several times after, up until the 1860s. Tooney's Store was set up here in-between Cherokee and settled land, from 1816 until 1829. John Hopkins bought the land in 1834 and lived in the store while building his home. There are several outbuildings and other structures built throughout the decades on the property, including a cemetery with family members and an unknown number of slaves buried there. Today it's split between private property and being used as a wedding and event venue. It seems you can't visit or photograph the historic land without renting it, so I was only able to get pics from the road. It looks beautiful and very well taken care of.

Great venue! Notes to brides. Plan to put down a runner so your dress and veil won't pull on the concrete.
