I’ve been coming to this post office for several years now and while the overall service has generally been acceptable, there’s one employee who consistently makes the experience uncomfortable. She’s a short Indian woman who I’ve noticed treats customers very differently depending on their appearance. People who come in well-dressed or put together usually get colder less courteous service—so much so that it makes you wonder if anyone’s ever actually said something to her.
Her behavior is hard to ignore. No greeting, no smile, just a constant air of judgment. I’ve caught her staring at me in line a few times and every time it’s the same strange cold stare that feels less like customer service and more like the fixation of an overly critical teenager. It’s unsettling and honestly unprofessional.
I kind of dread seeing her every time I walk in and I always hope someone else will help me instead. Most of the other staff members are polite and normal—like Chris and I think Cindy is her name—but her presence really shifts the tone of almost every visit. If customer service and a respectful environment matter to you I’d recommend going to another location. At the end of the day it’s clear she’s not just doing her job—she’s projecting whatever personal frustration she’s carrying onto the very people she’s supposed to be helping 😭

The staff refused to accept our toddler's passport applications even with proof of ICAO scanned confirmation. When asked if they could do the photos, we were told they don't have photo paper so can't take pictures. Sad to see counter staff believe they have more right to decide acceptance with their naked eye over ICAO scanning software. My family and I will travel out of Simpsonville to get better service.
:UPDATE: went to another post office and they accepted the pictures and so has the State department. The staff was wrong and denied my family access to resources.

We came in today to apply for our kids first passport. Our daughter is autistic and they were very kind and patient while taking her picture. The line moved fairly quickly and I was in shock at how smooth they made the experience. Highly recommend. Thank you to the amazing staff for their speediness and support.

I just came out of the post office with a terrible poor customer services lady, she a short bigger lady, she was even eating in front of me. She did not help me at all, especially trying to locate the package which she didn’t

Worst experience ever for a post office...delivered one thing couldn't deliver the next...trying to contact them is a joke. No wonder the postal system is collapsing...will go out of my way at this point to just get delivered by any other means.

Anytime a package gets handed off to them from another carrier it always seems to get randomly sent to another county when it has already arrived in Simpsonville. Absolutely ridiculous and unprofessional, leads to significant delays in delivery if it even shows up at all.

We have had problems with delivery for as long as we lived here and it doesn't seem to ever get better. We receive other people's mail on a weekly basis. We have 2 mailboxes, required by the PO, that aren't used properly.
Now I have a package flagged as not deliverable because of animal interference, but yet there was mail left in the box. This package would easily fit in the mailbox.
I now have to go to the PO where they will likely not be helpful to find out where my package is because they don't have a phone number you can call.
Get it together!

Worst post office. Spent over an hour with a customer service. They cant send a normal mail to overseas.....unbelievable. Went a few weeks ago, had the same bad experience. Workers are rude and make mean comments. I was kind and nice to them....I didnt made even a bad comment for staying so long for over 1 hr to proceed with a simple mail internationally. Please never visit this post office.

older guy there couldn't hear and used that to constantly give me an attitude. his snarky, passive aggressive, overly smart mouthed attitude made me give up and not even get help. very simple interaction turned into me saying nevermind and just accepting my package being lost. I don't even care about it if it means dealing with the people there.
