I have called 5 times and left two messages for a window issue and no one will call back and everytime I do get to talk to someone “the guy” who can help me “isnt there” super frustrating. Poor customer service

We went into the store and picked out a door and the salesman, Randy, said he would get back to us the next day with a price. We waited for 3 days and no call. I called his cell phone and the office. I had to ask who I was speaking to and he finally said his name. He said he would get back to me. It is been a month now with no phone calls. I even sent a text. How hard is it to give a price?!! I am not surprised to see the low ratings. Randy is at the Boiling Springs store. Never again.

While driving on the highway, one of their flatbed trucks was not swept clean and loose gravel flew off, cracking my windshield. I immediately called Builders FirstSource with photo evidence of their truck and the damage and they refused to accept responsibility, provide insurance information, and were unhelpful...borderline rude/unapologetic. Extreme lack of self-accountability and decency with this company.

Service is terrible if you are not a contractor business that is going to contribute LARGELY to their financial gain! We are a self build contractor. We never get call backs, and have to stay on top of them for info. Took 14 weeks to even get a design for trusses which was wrong when we got it. Ordered windows in March. They sat in their warehouse for a month. We had to call for two weeks just to get someone to “find” them. One is missing and one is broke. Still haven’t received the missing window. It’s now Sept and have had to call twice to get info on the missing window. No call backs yet. I guess they know we aren’t going to be bringing them business after business with a new neighborhood, so they don’t care about our one house. Very frustrating.

Special ordered two doors. Received contact doors were in. Came to pick them up and after one hour of looking they could only find one. Seriously.

In the process of building my house I ordered windows the beginning of December 2021 it is now late May and still waiting on the windows. I understand there is a lead time but going on six months is ridiculous especially when they said the leadtime was 10 to 12 weeks when I ordered them. And can’t get an answer on when I will actually receive the windows. It has held up all my other subcontractors and money from the bank for the house. I was supposed to be in the house by August but since the house has been sitting for three months waiting on windows it’s gonna cost me out of my pocket for rent just because I can’t get the windows in a timely manner
