TCMU is a great place to play for a morning or afternoon. It's a perfect size to let my kiddo be independent in a risk free way without me hovering; he won't get lost and he knows where he can find me. The different areas are perfect for ages 5 and under and they have areas exclusively for babies to crawl and play.We hosted our 4 year old's birthday this year and it was perfect. The party host set everything up, the cupcakes were wonderful (Publix), and it was fun.I know they have sponsorships with different places to fund their "stations", but the medical area is our least favorite area. It feels forced and takes up a huge portion of the upstairs. The grocery store, trains, and water table are great fun. The tree house is the best place to get energy out.

Definitely a good concept. But small, not enough of things to explore if you're not enrolled in any classes/programs. I can't imagine being there when it's packed. It was already packed with just 5 kids and 5 parents, try being there when it's a weekend. A nightmare. The plush toys are dirty. Like it needs to be be thrown away or in the washer for good 5 cycles. We went there just yesterday, and today my son is down with a fever. This museum was a first outing in a week. Ehh

This place is great for younger kids, younger than 8 for sure. My 7 year old was a bit bored. 3 year old liked it. The best part was probably the water area downstairs.. even that needs a bit more added to it

It's OK.. not very much to do. Probably because i went to the Greenville one first, and it's very big and tons of things to do...My 4 yr old had fun though.

Small space, so it is perfect for kids 4 and under. Very clean and the perfect place to pretend and be little

Way too small ! It's fun for toddlers but any older and it either feels cramped or too young for the older kids.

This place is amazing for letting your kid get their energy out in a safe environment and meeting other kids to have playdates with. I highly recommend a membership since the 3-5 person membership is only $210 for a year, with each person costing $7 that means it's free visits after the 10th visit AND it includes the Greenville location too, which is typically $13 a visit. The spartanburg location has great areas for <18mo, including seats at the water table to splash in! Then after they grow out of that, there is plenty of building and pretend play areas. I haven't been to the greenville location yet as it's more for 6-12yo, but the spartanburg location alone is worth it.

Visited the children’s museum a few days ago the lady at the front desk, I think her names Samantha, was super rude. She had an attitude when I asked her about birthdays almost as if I was inconveniencing her by merely asking a question. She gave me zero info about how to schedule one. I continued my visit there nonetheless and luckily ran into one of the workers who I believe was in charge of birthday events. I asked him for his name and I Believe it was “J”. He was able to provide me and my kids good customer service, unfortunately, the day I wanted was already booked, and I chose to go to a different location, but, on a lighter note. I’m giving this place 2 stars only because of the one worker who was able to understand my concerns and provide good customer service. Thanks.

I brought my family in for the first time. I was waiting by the check in area for quite sometime and I saw her in the room. The young lady who was supposed to be helping looked like she was on her phone and when I finally got her attention she had a horrible attitude and was super rude to me I’m pretty sure her name was Sam. I asked for a tour of the museum since it’s not as big as the Greenville location and she gave me a map and brushed me away as if I was an inconvenience. If customer service is this bad here I think I’ll stick to going to the Greenville location

What a great addition to the Spartanburg downtown landscape. Visiting the folks with my little and we had a nice outing at the museum. From playing operation and weighing babies to checking out the flow of water downstairs. They even give a discount for the foster children!

I visited for the first time a few days ago and saw a guy giving a tour, I asked a girl named Sam for more info and she was very rude and had an attitude, as if I was bothering her
