This place has slipped in the last couple years. I have been with them for 25 years but have not had as good of service since they expanded and now moved to the other side of town. Messed up check and waiting forever on a new card. ??♂️

My uncle recommended this credit union to me to refinance my car. I placed an application. The loan officer called me to verify my employment saying I didnt put it on the application (I did). I was then denied because I dont live/work in Spartanburg County and I dont have immediate family members who have accounts? Not my credit score or income. If you're only going to serve local customers that needs to be on your website. Called and wasted my time during a workday too.

Been open with Vital Federal Credit Union since April 23,2021 got no problem with them with the Duncan place soon to be close on July 18,2022 it going to be hard for me to drive from BMW plant to Asheville Highway to get some cash out from the ATM.

2nd time dealing with fraudulent transactions on my debit card. The Duncan location no longer has office hours, drive through only. Went to the Ashville Hwy location and the customer service agent picked at her face and wig the whole conversation, there were pieces of glue on the table. The rep refused to help with the fraudulent transaction. She called the company that charged us in error and stated "they don't have an account with you". Obviously we do not use the company that charged us fraudulently, that's the literal reason we are in the bank to report the charges! Worst customer service experience. We will be closing our account and switching to another bank.

Penny O' Shields goes so far beyond what should be asked. Knowing that I work across town she will have my transactions waiting for me when needed. She will keep me in the loop when needed and ALWAYS ALWAYS calls and/or emails back within a few hours. I never have to worry when working with her. You are a Rock Star to the 10th degree

As a credit union it’s good but this branch is not friendly at all for now on I will be going to the Duncan branch I took some rolls of coin in to deposit and a check in to deposit the trailer said that I would have to put the coin in the machine I finished setting the coin up so I could hand the check over to her she grabs the coin and takes it to the machine and I hear the trailer next to her say and he still set the coin up there the trailer said right. How rude to talk about your customers.

Was informed that in order to have a POD on my account that the person must come into the bank. I bank at Founders and First Citizens also they changed my POD with no problem. So therefore will be closing my account soon.

Marilyn at VFCU is simply the best. She made buying a new car a breeze. I highly recommend going through her and using VFCU for all of your banking needs.
