“Derrick was extremely patient and professional checking out an elderly woman who was having trouble paying. She held up the line for at least 20 minutes trying to check out with foodstamps (which only covered part of her purchase), then credit then debit and finally tried to download a pay app/digital wallet on her phone in line. I deliberately waited to see how this all would play out instead of going to another line. I wanted to see if either party would get frustrated enough to cancel the transaction, nope. Derrick showed compassion for a member of our society who clearly struggles simply to exist in it. Well done derrick.”

Still a very nice store very nice employees. Low on stock on a lot of what I needed but I expect that at the Dollar tree.

“Absolutely amazed today I have been into dozens of Dollar generals across our country never seen one so organized it was very clean there was one set of boxes that hadn't been the truck just came in yesterday any other Dollar general their truck going to come in last week and there would still be a disaster on the shelves and plenty of boxes in aisles blocking your way down the only thing I noticed was it was very hard to find a worker”
“Update 6/26/2022: Family Dollar is back open after being closed for several weeks for maintenance to a water line.So much better than Dollar General. The aisles are clear and everything seems to be fully stocked. Much more room to maneuver than Dollar General.”

“It's a really big store with a LOT OF LITTLE ITEMS everywhere, so it seems a bit scattered, but that just lures you deeper inside to another aisle with 15 things you gotta have, but at a Dollar TWENTY FIVE each, I forget I didn't win the genetic lottery of being born into one of the 5 families that rule the world and control the day-to-day struggle of the wage slaves they created-- a distraction-- struggle used to keep us too tired, hungry, educated, or UNITED (because we are pitted against "other guy" instead of seeing them as a fellow citizen and only potential ally in any fight to buck enormous odds and end the broken system fiat money has crumbled to since, at least the end of the gold standard in favor of a ponzi scheme with a rigged house of cards that always leads, historically, to being without NEEDS in a mindless pursuit of WANTS and the MASSIVE DEBT/STRUGGLE it always creates.*deep breath*...so I have to leave without all of the candle holders and Santa Claus Snow globes in August I need.... but I'm glad they're over there in case I need a waste basket, dog food and a spatula.”

“I hadn't been in in awhile due to transportation issues. However, I went in this week, found everything on my list, was pleasantly surprised by the peaceful atmosphere ( no screaming babies or kids throwing temper tantrums like Walmart) store was clean, lady that works there is always friendly and makes me feel like a valued customer. She may be the manager, I am not sure, but she has been there awhile. She is always pleasant and friendly. was hard at work when I went in but took time to greet in a friendly manner.”

“The staff is fantastic here. The only problem is during the summer the air conditioner is on, however it's so hot that you can't bear to be in there long. I feel bad for the employees that have to work in those conditions.”

“Staff is generally as cheerful and lively as possible, working in retail, but the effort to be is noticable. Well stocked, without everything being all in the aisles--a long standing Iva chain store tradition-- and I haven't gotten home and upon closer inspection found that my lunch meat was green or the yogurt had fur, like at another Iva store I'll leave nameless in their non-stock-rotating-shame.”
“This is actually my favorite dollar store to go to on North Main Street right before the municipal buildings!!They have lots of things that the other ones do not including a really great grocery department for quick trips and it is also a bigger store! ?”
