November 2025 by Toni Hubbard
I made an appointment for my vehicle to be diagnosed on July 30, 2025 because it was overheating. They told me they needed to replace the thermostat and water pump. I picked my car up on July 31st and paid the bill of $1,147.37 On Tuesday August 5th at 2:40pm my car overheated while I was making a delivery on my job. They towed it and gave me a loaner On August 6th at 12:29pm I picked up my vehicle and was told it was a loose clamp they failed to tighten up.
On Tuesday November 4th at 1:25pm my car overheated while I was making a delivery on my job once again they came and towed me back to the dealership. I was told that Mr McLaughlin retired and they are under new ownership and it might not be covered. I was also told they did not have a loaner for me and they would drop me off at home. Really how could a car dealership not have a car I could use. Yesterday I initiated a call trying to find out about my car. They said they did a pressure test and the car is overheating because of a leak but they don’t know where it’s leaking How has my car been here for this long and they still can’t find the issue. The issue is it was never fixed properly in the beginning WORKMANSHIP!!! I called my mechanic friend and he told me the same thing. I also filed a complaint with corporate and they were in complete agreement It’s now Friday afternoon and I haven’t been able to get in touch with the service manager I left a voicemail and that was an hour ago. I would not recommend this dealership to anyone.
Update: I received a call yesterday morning from the dealership stating that there was a leak in one of the seals and my vehicle would be fixed by noon today with no charge. I appreciate the resolution however, it took a lot to get here. I don’t have the energy nor the time to deal with it.
I did get a call today letting me know my car is ready to be picked up. However, I was told that they don’t have a person available to pick me up from my home like they have always done in the past Athena dropped me off on Tuesday but today she’s too pregnant to pick me up.
There are no loaners or staff to drive the courtesy vehicles at this location.

Will not work with you if you're new to buying a car. Will talk fast and promise everything to get you to walk out with a car you can't afford, no matter how low you try to go. Changed hands recently, and now someone has to call you and get 3 references before you can even pay for your car. How am I supposed to make monthly payments if you don't give me a way to pay, Ford?

In no way is to diminish McLaughlin Ford who were always great!
My mom has been a loyal customer of McLaughlin Ford (now Crossroads Ford) since 1997 and has exclusively purchased her vehicles from them. She’s always had great experiences, but after this morning, she is seriously disappointed with the service at Crossroad Ford under the new ownership.
Today, her front passenger window got stuck after she rolled it down. Since her vehicle is still under warranty, she took it to the service center. She was told the wait time would be 1-2 hours, which was fine. However, when they finally got to her vehicle, they tried rolling down the other windows, and now the back driver’s side window is stuck too. My mom explained that she only had an issue with the front passenger in return the technician told her it’s her fault. Like wow!
Instead of helping, they charged her $200 for a diagnostic test and still didn’t attempt to fix anything. When my mom asked for her keys back, they rudely threw them into the vehicle.
This is not the kind of service she expected from a dealership that used to have a reputation for treating customers with respect. She wasn’t asking for free service, just for the issue to be addressed, especially since her car is still under warranty.
It’s disappointing to see how far things have changed since the McLaughlin days. This new ownership clearly isn’t upholding the standard of care she’s always known. She hopes they will make things right.

Stopped, looked at about6 different Bronco. Was in parking lot and underneath the shed looking, never had a salesmen approach or offer help. Their loss bought a badlands from a dealer in Ga.

If I could do lower than 1 star, I would. First, the lack of communication within this service department is infuriating. There is no reason why the customer should have to call for an update on their vehicle. Especially when you may or may not get someone on the phone. I waited nearly a month for a new air compressor to come in from back order and had to call for updates on the part repeatedly. Not to mention, I was without air during the hottest part of the year in a nearly black car. Second, I'm not sure if every mechanic in the shop is brand new or just lazy because every time my car comes in for servicing beyond an oil change/tire rotation, I leave with a different problem or a tool left under the hood. Examples: I waited nearly 3 hours for the battery to be replaced and came home with a crowbar under the hood and a check engine light on. It took an additional hour to resolve the check engine light. AND when my air compressor went out at the beginning of August, the part was on back order until Sept. 15th. It was replaced yesterday, and I got it back with a low oil pressure light on. Assuming oil pressure was actually low, the car had to be towed right back to the dealership, and I had to rent a car. Thankfully, those charges are being paid by Ford, but the inconvenience and disruption in my workday is what caused the frustration. Come to find out, the issue was a sensor that was left loose after installing the air compressor. A simple test drive after service would mitigate these customer service issues and prevent poor experiences. Lastly, every person I have interacted there acts like it's the last place they want to be. It is not anyone's fault that you decided to work at Ford, so at least act like you care about what you're doing. I'd like to think that reviews are used for coaching tools to better the department, but it doesn't seem like they are. However, I will not know if anything comes from this review because I will never trust them to fix my car moving forward.

I purchased my new Mustang gt from these guys, everyone there was super friendly and helpful and they also gave me the best deal around. They value their customers and I'd definitely buy from them again...speaking of that comment...I purchased my car 2 days ago, and my wife went back and picked her up a car from them today also! They're honest people that care about their customers

returned for corrective service to correct an important detail to know when oil changes is complete, attention to detail is paramount in this matter. engine damage could have occurred due to negligent maintenance practice, now ongoing monitoring of services will be necessary due to trust concerns. Thanks to Olivia and Dana for getting this corrected in a very timely manner ,KUDOS to them for sure!
