If you're looking for movers, regardless if you are associated with the military or not, DO NOT use this company. I know it may be difficult not to if the military authorizes them to be your moving company but if you have a choice, 100% go with someone more respectable and courteous toward the military community.
I was there to pick up my household goods personally from their storage facility. The manager, along with his crew, were the rudest, most dishonest pushy people I have ever met in my 20 years of service. I had to ignore the manager after being asked at least 15x's if I thought all of my items would fit in my rental truck and that he had been in the business a lot longer than I had. Trying to push someone along faster because it's early evening on a Friday and you want to go home is not the way to run a business.
They also moved my items from the Columbia, SC facility to the Sumter, SC one without my knowledge.
Long story short, if you want your moving experience to be a pleasant one, steer clear of this company. The military, active and retired veterans, deserve better! Shape up Mayflower!

I'm deeply frustrated and angered at the state of my things that were shipped. Not only did they manage to break a lamp, desk (which was clearly broken when they packed it), they also damaged a few art pieces beyond repair. The most infuriating is that they didn't even bother to wrap the wooden spice rack that my father-in-law made and of course that ended up damaged too. Not to mention they were late on the day of move out and most of the boxes were falling apart and the movers at our final destination had to retape most of the boxes to even move them. If you don't have to use this company I'd recommend going elsewhere with your business. And if you're unfortunate enough to get this company through the air force, ask them to get you a different moving service.

I am telling you, if you value your household possession do not use this company. They will trash your stuff and then just tell you to file an insurance claim. They will ignore all instructions regarding packing items and do whatever they feel like. They do not care about your items or your time. Completely worthless - do yourself a favor and look elsewhere for moving services.

I got great service from the team at this location. The employees care about their job and customers, that's all I can ask for.

It's unfortunate that I feel that I have no other choice but to write this review. My husband's company set up our relocation, to which at the time I thought to be with United Van Lines. I have worked in the moving industry before and was familiar with them, so I had no worries with this being the first time dealing personally with professional movers. We were moved by Darius, Anthony and I think Roland ( don't remember his name but he was the lead) When they arrived they were nice and courteous but I had concerns because they came in a Vault truck, which would expose my belongings to the outside elements and had no room for my larger furniture. While they were packing, I watched and started having concerns with how my items were being tossed into boxes and placed in my already prepackaged tubs, but jokingly was told that "this is what they do", basically to mean that they are the professionals and not me, so I left it alone.

HORRIBLE! We had broken stuff. Lost items. Would not recommend them. And the electronics and stuff they took apart they striped ALL the screws!!! Awful.

I don't know where to begin. We moved a 2200sq foot house FIVE MILES and so many belongings are lost or broken. I am an educator and we found a box of my pro gear filled with sandwich and drink trash in our garage. Our Bluetooth speakers are missing. My 6 year old's Legos were spilled ALL OVER a moving truck and will never be able to be reassembled with all the pieces missing. Our kitchen utensils are still at large. Our entertainment center is so damaged that the front two legs no longer touch the floor. The packers mislabeled and misplaced so many things that we are at 7 days post move and just found my hsuband's clothes. The movers were courteous and kind, but not as careful as we'd have appreciated. Our couch was never reassembled, our entertainment center arrived broken, and our dressers were all astray from being tipped and turned so many times that we have to take the backs off of them to retrieve fallen items. All in all, not a good experience. We will move ourselves the next time the Army sends us on our way.
