The property was awesome. We greatly enjoyed our visit. We received all of our linens for the bedding, wash cloths and bath towels but no hand towels (not sure if we were supposed to). We will definitely consider renting this property in the future.

Beautiful condo very well decorated with modern finishes. The only exception is no elevator in the complex. This made it very hard on our family. Otherwise well worth it!

We stayed a LegalEase, a Surfside Realty property, just a week ago and had a horrible experience with mold exposure that made many guests sick.
We brought this to the attention of Surfside realty and they acted shocked regarding our claims of there being a lot of mold around the house and apologized by offering a partial refund.
After bringing the issue up with management we found this 1-star review from 2 weeks prior (see attached photo) which shows the mold issue at the same property LegalEase. Someone else had the SAME exact issue in the SAME exact rental... This means management directly lied to our face when they stated they knew nothing about the mold issue, furthermore, they allowed new vacation guests to stay in a mold infested house and tried to state it was our fault we didn’t bring attention to the problem sooner!
Just to be very clear, we didn’t notice the problem immediately as they replaced the vent covers to make it look "brand new" without actually addressing the mold issue at all. We truthfully didn't notice much of the mold until half of the guests started to feel symptoms similar to mold sickness.
Yes you read that correctly, Surfside realty tried to hide this massive mold issue in their property by simply switching to new vent covers, endangering the health of their guests.
We contacted Surfside realty right away, they offered us a $1,000 refund which we declined. The property manager Travis Worthy laughed at us in his office and said "You're going to regret not taking this $1,000 refund" as we walked out. Disgusting behavior from someone who is a property manager.
We are absolutely disgusted this company would put our families health at risk for a quick buck. The moment we realized how serious the problem was at LegalEase we left the house and hired a mold professional inspector who confirmed how bad the problem was. (see attached photos of the inspection details)
We are now in the process of hiring an attorney. PLEASE DO NOT STAY WITH SURFSIDE REALTY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR WELL BEING.

I recently stayed at a property managed by Surfside Realty and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The check-in process was particularly disorganized. We were informed via email a few days prior that check-in was scheduled between 4:30-6 pm and that we would be notified when the property was ready along with instructions to enter the home. However, at 5 pm, after not receiving any communication, I called the office while we were near the property. The representative casually mentioned that the property was ready, but we would need to drive 20 minutes each way to their office to get the keys. This lack of communication and empathy for the inconvenience was quite disappointing and unprofessional.
Additionally, there were discrepancies between the pricing displayed on the VRBO checkout page and the actual charges. We were charged a $250 pet fee despite not having a pet, and a $200 "peace of mind" owner's fee. On top of that, I paid $150 for linens, which apparently did not cover the cost of having them put on the beds. That's like going to a restaurant and having to pay for the fork, spoon and knife separately.
As a frequent user of services like VRBO and Airbnb, I expect a certain level of customer service and transparency. Unfortunately, the service provided by Surfside Realty did not meet those expectations. I hope this feedback helps them improve their customer experience for future guests.

We've been using Surfside Realty for many years. This year we had some issues with a property that we found out later, was not in Surfside Realty's control. They went above and beyond to address and rectified the problem. Travis is my contact there and he is fantastic!

Phil Tabakelis did a fabulous job on my recent transaction. I have bought and sold a lot of real estate and have never had a realtor that was more prompt in his responses. If Phil tells you he is going to do something, he does it AHEAD OF TIME- so refreshing. I’d highly recommend him if you are looking in the Grand Strand. Much appreciated Phil!!!

First time staying in this area for our family. We stayed at Salty Daze for the week and had the most amazing time. Two adults and 5 kids and we were beyond comfortable. The house has literally everything you could possibly think of to take on vacation (so don’t over pack like we did!) The location is great, centered almost evenly between both piers, and just a short golf cart ride everywhere else. We did run into a few issues, some we didn’t even know were happening and maintenance was here within minutes to fix the problem(s). We have zero complaints and wouldn’t change a single thing. This has been the best vacation we’ve ever taken! We will definitely be coming back again.

I’d like to start off by saying surfside realty did rectify the situation with a full refund. We called them immediately about the issues and a cleaner did come that night but she only removed the food and cleaned the windows. Unfortunately there was a significant language barrier. The maintenance guy came very late and promised to be back and never came back.
We stayed at legal ease or attempted to I should say. When we walked in we were floored that they could approve this for renters to actually sleep in. The vents were completely molded as well as the surrounding areas of the ceiling. There were dead cockroaches throughout the house, they left food from the prior tenants, under the couch cushions looked like they have never been vacuumed a day since they have been owned, there were stains all on the carpets and comforters, just absolute filth for paying $4k for the week. We had family that drove all the way from NJ that has to drive back home because they couldn’t risk sleeping with all of the mold.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sea Grove! It's a 2 minute walk to the beach, the unit is very clean and it's a nice quiet area. We loved it and we can't wait to return!
