Truist is a bank that receives mixed reviews, highlighting both service frustrations and exceptional personal care. Some customers express dissatisfaction with communication, noting that representatives sometimes use distant language like "they" instead of "we," which can feel impersonal. However, many reviews strongly praise specific branch employees for their compassionate and competent service. Customers report feeling confused, overwhelmed, and anxious due to banking issues, often requiring multiple visits. In these stressful situations, certain individuals are highlighted for taking their time, showing genuine care, and providing resolutions. They keep in touch with issues and work to avoid future problems, actions that have helped rebuild faith in the institution. Customers in tight spots, such as new residents needing urgent access to funds, also report receiving quick and competent help that resolved very stressful days. While some problems may not be fully resolved immediately, the empathetic and dedicated service from these employees is frequently cited as the primary reason customers choose to remain with Truist. This personal touch makes customers feel more secure and appreciated.
They did somewhat try to help. But I dislike it when a representative for that company says 'they won't let us do that". They are the they. They work for Truist. Say, 'we' can't do that. Just me though. I'm sure it doesn't bother many other people.
