This Dollar General is amazing in my point of view, I gave it 5 stars originally but after reading other reviews I remembered when it first opened I had trouble getting service at the cash register because there were simply no employees at the front! I'm so glad they have a self-checkout register now.

Clean, more than one person working, which should never happen.Stock was on shelves, not on shipping cart in the middle of the floor or isle.

The employees are never upfront they are always in the back and they never keep anything on the selves and they are always on there phone you could walk out of the store at anytime with stuff and never pay for it because the employees stay in the back

I like to say what a great job of customer service my husband received tonight from the cashier at the new Dollar General store on Locust Hill rd. Lawson was a very helpful and genuine employee. Wish there were more employees like this around. All local stores need to look into creating a customer service programs for all team members,.

This new location went down hill fast. From the outside new but inside you’ll experience a lack of concern with having an employee at the registers or a functioning U-scan more than half the time. This location is conveniently located near my home which is why I’m always here. However, today, I stood at the registers for nearly 10 minutes waiting on an employee. I walked in the back, called out hello, and no one responded. I rang a bell they have a the registers several times with no one in sight. The U-Scan was out of order because it was out of receipt paper. The employee finally emerged from the back of the store, speaking on her cellphone.
