La Unica Supermarket is a well-stocked international Hispanic market, described as a hidden gem. It sells everything, including high quality products and all the good stuff for preparing Mexican and any Hispanic foods at home. This includes South American ingredients, Central American pupusas and arepas, all the different dried chilies and spices, and hard to find fruits and vegetables. The produce section is excellent, with superb vegetables that are fresh and more reasonable than other grocery stores. The meat market is a greatest part, featuring unbeatable prices on items like Picanha, short ribs, and great pre-seasoned meat for tacos al pastor and fajitas. There is also a fresh bakery daily with ethnic breads and sweet rolls, including fresh mini loaves. A mini restaurant inside offers really good food at great prices. The store is less crowded than other locations and is noted for its friendly service, including help with groceries. It is a great place worth the stop, where you will leave with something.
