I just want to start by giving, Ms. Pam and Ms.Ginger "The toddler B teachers" A big Thank you for their caring attention toward our daughter. And although the teachers mentioned above were awesome, Still our experience at this facility was a very unpleasant one to say the least. Our daughter was left with a soiled diaper to the point that we had to peel it off her bottom as she screamed in agony. I immediately called and spoke with the director. This experience happened when my daughter was in the "Toddler A" classroom. The teachers claimed our daughter had her diaper changed 5 minutes prior to being picked up but since there is no video playback to prove it, I was told that they have to give them the benefit of the doubt. I also feel like the administrators will lie to you to defend what's wrong. Our daughter was left soiled on numerous occasions although the administrators said this would never happen again. My wife dropped our daughter off in the infant room one morning and by the time she got back to her regular classroom she had feces on her back. I was told that the incident was reported to the administrators. When I questioned the administrators about this, they said they were not aware of the incident. I also told them about one of the teacher's in Toddler A, who made a racist remark, she referred to the children as "blond haired, blue eyed nazis". She also made a comment, that although she is a woman she was never meant to be a mom, but ironically she now has her own classroom, that goes to show how the director and the rest of the administration care about our children. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. I would like to add that most of the reviews on Google are, in fact, from administrators and staff.

I really wanted to love this place after reading all these great reviews and speaking to Taylor during open house. We started near the end of October, within the first week, there were two instances where my son's diaper wasn't changed. We go part time (MTF 8am-3pm) but on the App it said his diaper was changed twice, both times. I tried contacting them, nothing. The director finally reached out saying she would give me a call, never did. So that goes to say, if you're in Twaddler B's classroom, your kid's diaper probably wasn't changed either until they woke up from their nap or if it was soiled. I ended up speaking with Taylor and she assured me this wouldn't happen again. They also mentioned to me saying that the teachers were going to go through "training" again and would be monitored for the rest of the week. If you're looking for a place to give you pictures and updates correctly, this isn't the place. I either didn't get any updates at all or they came all at once right before I had to pick my son up. Pictures, don't expect it. Just once in a blue moon. I understand they are short staffed, but the turnover I saw was insane. There is no consistency. I have also witnessed unsanitary handling when preparing the toddlers snack, ratio issues, and STILL my son still came home on some days with a very wet diaper. They do not follow the 2 hour policy on changing diapers. I even asked a couple teachers if they get paid enough, and sure enough they said not at all. (I know that's an issue for all daycares) With that being said, their lack of communication is an issue too. They require a 30 day notice and we did not even finish out the end of December, I ended up just pulling him out. I also had a previous manager randomly message me on FB telling me to not go attend TLE, I told her that I already pulled him out.

I'm so sad to write this review, but feel like with all the waitlists for daycares in this area it's important to share. We moved from NY last year and had LOVED our TLE in Yorktown. It was a no brained then to transition our two boys to the Tega Cay location. We were disappointed from day one.The infant room was good for the most part, attentive with food, breast milk, and diaper changes. Once in the Toddler A classroom they taught good nap habits and for the most part were great with my youngest. There were several teacher changes so after a while we received no updates from them, and saw our son no longer progressing with his speech. For our oldest, we told them he was just turning 4, but they put him in a room with 2-3 year olds. There was an immediate teacher change and the kids stopped doing any workbooks or had any control in the room. I complained and then suddenly he was moved to a room with kids advancing to Kindergarten for the following year. This was night and day and he flourished. Unfortunately the head teacher retired and they merged two classrooms into one. Almost 30 4-5 year olds with only two teachers. Again we saw these teachers overwhelmed and our oldest seemed to no longer be progressing. It boils down to poor administration. These was very poor communication from the Director who took a long time to respond to parent inquiries or emails. Teachers often complained to us about lack of support from the Director, hence the turn over.We ultimately moved our boys in less than a year to another local school and are very happy there.

This place is a mess! - teachers are inexperienced and the place is understaffed. One teacher had the longest nails I had ever seen and the school had no policy around it! How can they handle infants? I found my kid sleeping on the dirty carpet many times. They also show iPad during diaper changes etc.- front desk is a shit show... they are always all over the place. They upload pictures once a week because of some weird photo approval policy. No other daycares I know do this. - they say that they have video and you can watch in the office but it's a sham. The video is rotating between rooms and it barely stays in your child's room for a few seconds. We pulled out our kid very fast after seeing how terribly this place was run.

Our daughter has been with TLE -Tega for about 7 months. She enjoys seeing her friends everyday. The front staff is super nice. We enjoy seeing our daughter grow.
