Ingles Markets is a grocery store known for its clean atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, and fresh produce. Customers appreciate the variety of items, including a popular salad bar and hot bar, and often find the staff to be attentive and willing to assist, even stopping their tasks to help shoppers find specific items. The bakery offers delicious cakes, and the store is well-stocked with a unique selection of goods. However, some customers have expressed concerns about the high prices, making it difficult for them to afford shopping there. Additionally, there have been ongoing issues with trash on Ingles' property and in the fenced detention area, which local residents have tried to address by cleaning up the mess themselves. Despite these problems, Ingles has recently taken steps to improve, such as cleaning trash from their side of the road and property bi-weekly after contact with corporate. A note for shoppers is that the store does not provide double seated carts for families with multiple young children. Overall, Ingles Markets offers a pleasant shopping experience with friendly service, but concerns about pricing and cleanliness have been noted.
