“The staff here is wonderful. I’d like to especially call out the Post Master. I wish I had gotten her name today. My father’s cremated remains were mailed through West Union and she personally brought them out. I remembered that she had hand delivered something for me before to a guy that lived near her a few years ago. She was raised right! It’s rare to get this kind of service these days”

“Never had issues with them, they are a small location but have been very good to me. I have a small PO Box there and I work nights so I don’t check it as often as I should, and they are great about holding my mail even when it’s too much to fit in my box, and they are very kind about me having packages delivered there. Honestly the people who do have a PO Box here depend on this place, so it’s rather irritating that people keep commenting that it should close.”
“I moved to Tamassee in November 2015. My residence is on a private rural road. For the sake of security, I secured a PO Box at Zip Code 29686. I have not regretted it. Numerous thefts have occurred on the road simply because there is no one around to see anything. Hence, I never set up a roadside mailbox. As I am someone who relies on the mail delivery of prescribed medications, I find the annual price of my PO Box (currently $62 per year) is well-worth my peace of mind. Moreover, as I've became acquainted with the permanently assigned customer service reps working Tamassee over the years. Please know they are truly valuable assets to the USPS. Those that come from Salem on a sub basis leave a bit to be desired. Thank you.”

“I absolutely hate the United States Postal Service, with a great passion at that. But today, Kelly and the other lady (I'm sorry ma'am) were so nice and helpful with my package going everywhere but my address. This post office used to have a rude bunch in there, and maybe still do after reading the other reviews, but Kelly and the lady who called about my email at 6:37pm were awesome. Thank you ladies!”
