“I want to both praise and say thank you to Charlie Lindeen who works at the West Union post office in Oconee County. This time of year has to be stressful on the teams who are on the front line and dealing with a lot of customers who aren’t happy about their late packages. This year seems like the worst I have ever seen. I have over 10 packages late at this very minute. One package I was particularly concerned about. On Friday I had the privilege to work with Charlie. He eased my anxiety and went above and beyond. He was able to track down my package and give me a ETA. The post office is slammed full of people. Many people sharing their mad stories with each other. As a customer I don’t want to hear all of that negativity and I applaud postal workers and especially Charlie who effectively and efficiently stayed on course with a smile on his face. I am in my mid 50’s It’s hard these days to come across good customer service. It’s so lack luster. Charlie was so helpful and the rest of the team working hard. Thanks again for helping to locate the package. It arrived on Saturday. Great experience in a negative environment!!”

“I moved to Tamassee in November 2015. My residence is on a private rural road. For the sake of security, I secured a PO Box at Zip Code 29686. I have not regretted it. Numerous thefts have occurred on the road simply because there is no one around to see anything. Hence, I never set up a roadside mailbox. As I am someone who relies on the mail delivery of prescribed medications, I find the annual price of my PO Box (currently $62 per year) is well-worth my peace of mind. Moreover, as I've became acquainted with the permanently assigned customer service reps working Tamassee over the years. Please know they are truly valuable assets to the USPS. Those that come from Salem on a sub basis leave a bit to be desired. Thank you.”

But today, Kelly and the other lady (I'm sorry ma'am) were so nice and helpful with my package going everywhere but my address. This post office used to have a rude bunch in there, and maybe still do after reading the other reviews, but Kelly and the lady who called about my email at 6:37pm were awesome. Thank you ladies!”
