I broke down on I-95 lost all air pressure. Devin was my technician and he came out and went above and beyond all expectations. Even refilled the air system 4 times to get me to the shop and fixed my truck after hours . I literally can't brag on these people enough. Very professional, very courteous. Devin has a bright future. I don't know what he makes but that man needs a raise ! I was very impressed and look forward to doing business with this company in the future

I called them a little before 8 AM on a weekday. I bought a blown out airbag and I was in the rest area on I 95 northbound. I gave the woman the part number and she told me that it was not a common airbag so they did not stock it. she was also going to try to locate one and see if they could get me back up and going. I waited an hour then started making other calls. Found another ROAD repair shop that within five minutes he told me he would get the airbag and be there by 10 AM. Never heard back from Tommy’s auto and diesel repair.

Tommie’s was a blessing to us last night. When having car trouble while on I-95, we had to pull off onto a dark and desolate exit. Hours away from home we weren’t sure who to call. Tommie’s tow truck just so happen to be getting off the exit and was so nice to stop and ask if we needed help. He was on a job, but he gave us a number to call. Sylvia was so nice to talk to, then kept in touch though text messages on the ETA of another tow truck. In just an hour, my family of five were safely in a tow truck! The driver told us a good hotel in the area and then got us there! He took our car back with him and in the morning took our car to an automotive shop! Afterwards they came back to the hotel for us to run our card and get our receipt. All of this for a fair price!! Definitely couldn’t recommend them more! When you are in need.. call Tommie’s!!

Tech came out for a road call and told me that my truck would need to be brought to a shop, that it would not pass an inspection and shouldn't be driven, then turned around and told my company that it was perfectly fine to drive, making me look like I was refusing to drive for no reason. Totally confused as to why they would say two different things like this.Update, not long after posting this I tried to drive to a Freightliner shop and the exact same issue happened not more than 500 feet from where I started. These guys don't know what they're doing and will lie to you about what they said.

One star for pricing, five stars for service and amenities. You’re going to pay double or triple than your regular mechanic and they quote by the job as if Johnny that can’t tie his own shoes that just got out of mechanic school did it..and not by the actual time worked.

Great experience when needed. From dispatch to the driver. They were 100% professional. On time, polite and very efficient. While nobody likes to call a tow company - this is the one to call for professionalism, courtesy and fairness. How good? The other tow companies with no one and a broken wrecker - all recommended Tommies!

These guys helped me out of a real big "breakdown" jam. An all trailer tires smokin, streaken'n striping, eighteen wheeler type of jam! They dispatched and did the the job when others wouldn't or didn't even pick up the phone The respectful and professional Tech showed me what's up and got me outta harms way. One grateful driver here. Stay safe out there.

On a Sunday morning traveling from South Carolina to NJ I go a flat and was luckily able to be somewhere safe. No one had a tire available locally so I needed a tow to the dealer. Out of approx 5 calls to other tow companies no one could help me. I called Tommie’s and Sylvia picked who was very professional and was able to help my day a little better. She took my info and was able to dispatch someone right away. Perry, the tech, showed up and quickly and safely loaded up my car. Very professional, courteous, and great communication.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I went to this garage to repair a leaking wheel seal on my motorhome. I arrived around 7:30 without an appointment. The technician was able to start working on my problem at 8h00, right at the start of opening hours. I appreciated that he started work right away, Anyway, there were no other customers but me. Before he started the job, I asked the person at the counter what their hourly rate was and she said $120 per hour, which is reasonable. The technician replaced the seal for a total of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes of work. I also appreciated. So I should have paid $150 for the labor. But, when I got the bill, I was asked for $450 (3 times the hourly rate) for 1 hour and 15 minutes of work plus parts for a total of $624.31. I asked the lady at the counter for an explanation and she replied that it is because her computer sets the prices for this type of work even though she had told me that the hourly rate was $120. She also said it is because the technician who worked on my motorhome has many years of experience and he works 3 times faster (!) than someone with less experience and that's how it is. I asked to speak to the manager (or the owner) who called me back and told me pretty much the same thing, that he was charging the price his computer was telling him and that is the same price as if I went to another dealer. Even though I reminded him that the technician had worked only 1 hour 15 minutes, he did not change his mind.So I will never do business with them again. TO AVOID.

I had one of my drivers In South Carolina broken down, I had him call some shops around to see who can come out and take a look at what is going on with the truck. They told me that the vehicle had to be towed to their shop because they didn't want someone to get hurt while on the side of the highway which I totally understand. They inspected the truck and gave me an estimate, the work was started. Yesterday I get a call to pay and everything was fine until the lady told me they only take EFS/Comcheck/Comdata. I told the lady the only way I can pay is with card over the phone and I can fill out an authorization form for the credit card. She tells me then that's not possible they don't take anything over 500 dollars with credit card. I randomly went on google and states the payment options where one of them is Visa. At this point I am frustrated with this lady, I believe I talked to 4 different people in one day. I call this morning to see what we can do regarding this and they lady didn't care. She told me If I was a legit company I could use EFS for 4k+, and continued to call me childish. DO NOT GO HERE, THIS PLACE SHOULD EITHER SHUT THEIR DOORS OR TRY AND HELP PEOPLE OUT RATHER THEN GETTING FEISTY. Stay away from these thievesServices: Special vehicle towing

My driver called for an airline issue last night. The woman he spoke with would not call me to get authorization or to get payment. She specifically stated she will just deal with the driver. The repair took LITERALLY 12 minutes. The location where my driver was located was LITERALLY 4.9 miles from their shop. The bill states mileage to and from. So shouldn't they have charged the previous customer the from mileage and only us from and back to the shop? That would be a total of 9.80. Below is what was on the bill I received this morning. They charged us mileage from their last road call. I should not have to pay for another company's mileage. They were very backwards and unprofessional. 99% of the repair companies I deal with refuse to deal with the driver. I feel like they didn't want me to know they were trying to rip us off. What's crazy is, we called 10 different shops last night. 7 of them told us to call Tommie's. I hope those businesses realize they are leading people straight to snakes. This is very unprofessional and straight robbery.AFTER HOURS ROAD SERVICE CALL OUT TO 387 100.00MABLE T WILLIS RD, WALTERBORO, SCLABOR INCLUDES ALL DRIVE TIME TO AND FROM 500.00SCENE TO DIAGNOSE RED AIRLINE ISSUE; TECHFOUND AIRLINE SEVERED; TECH INSTALLED AFITTING TO RESTORE AIR PRESSURE;27 MILES AT 1.75 PER MILE 47.25ROAD SERVICE / ADMIN FEE 33.08

Tommie’s was absolutely the best towing company I have ever experienced in my 76 year old life. They responded when the other sevices just kept me on the phone. I have been a certified public accountant for forty years, Vice President of a Fortune 500 company and President And CEO of my own company and I have never been so grateful for the excellent service provided to me from Tommy the tow truck operator. He came took right over and towed my car me and my 76 year old wife. He was especially professional kind helpful and followed through the next day.I can’t say enough good about this company and Tommy the tow truck operator who was nothing short of a guardian angel.Thank you and may May God bless you all.My very best regards,James AgonisService: Car towing
