Call before you visit if you're doing a return. Usually great. The people are great. Policy is the problem. Wasted trip to return batteries for core charge refund. Can't be done without a manager. Call to make sure a manager is there before you visit if your situation might require one.

Can not say enough good things about this place and the people who work there. Was leaving Ace and my truck wouldn't start so I walked over to advance. William was great let me borrow a jump box but that wasn't the issue... long story short Papa Bear that works there was getting off work and with what we thought would be a quick battery swap turned in to replacing the battery and putting a new starter on the truck. Something g papa bear was able to diagnose with old school knowledge you just don't see now a days, I tried to pay him for his time and he refused, dont see that much these days either. They went above and beyond what could be asked and had a tremendously great attitude and I am so appreciative of all of you. Thank you!

I get most of my parts here and the prices are reasonable. They can order a lot of stock, or check if it can be ordered. The part took 2 weeks to get in but it wasn't the store who was at fault. They have a verity of services that help you diagnose problems and they install some things. Like wipers and do some diagnostics. The service personnel are friendly and knowledgeable about parts and services.

Terrible service stood there for 10 minutes while they help everyone else but not me! If you're going to keep old school parts behind the counter make sure you have somebody over there to let people look at them! The people there have no knowledge they just know how to run a computer! You could ask them for an air freshener and they would ask you what the make and model is!

Just wanted to get on here and leave a review about the great, willing to help people Manager at West union SC Advance auto parts, Brittany! She went above and beyond to find parts for my Jeep. I have been in there a couple days before and no one showed me the service like she did. I am very pleased with the outcome and the service I got that day. Even though they were short-handed she still took the time to help me find what I needed.

I’ve gone multiple times to this advance and everyone is so nice and everything, but the old gentleman named Kevin has one of the worst customer services I’ve ever seen in my life and I’ve lived in multiple cities in the USA. When I look for parts he tells me he never has them but I end up finding them in the store. I don’t like to pull this card but I’ve seen Kevin take care of Caucasian customers and how very quick he switches when he helps me or my family out I don’t want to make sumptuous if it’s because were Latinos but just one of worst customer service I have ever received

Fount myself with a completely dead charging system in their parking lot. They helped me pull the batteries. I had previously ( in July) replaced one battery and the alternator. Due to a defect, the alternator killed both of my batteries. They loaned me the tools and helped me get everything back in. I know most stores don't want you to work in the parking lots, but these guys didn't mind at all. (They said they were trying to help me avoid paying for a tow). Tim Davis is a ROCKSTAR and knows his stuff. He printed me out a serpentine belt routing diagram to help me (because my belt came off two of the pulleys) put the belt back on right.
