Don't work in Sigma Cage unless you like living at your job. Don't work third shift unless you like never being listened to and things constantly being your fault, also management that outright lies to get what they want. Their "no fault" attendance policy has you penalized with doctors notes from emergency room visits, leaves you no way to take off suddenly if for example, you get in a car accident, dog gets sick and need emergency vet visit, pretty sure even a death in the family has you penalized for the first day you're out for it. showing up late counts as half a day out, so if you get hired and you're gunna be 5min late, just show up just before halfway through your shift unless you need the money, the penalty is the same. When I say lie, they'll say they have video footage and photos of things which aren't true and also photos violate company policy and they don't have cameras on the work floor. Don't expect insurance to cover much. Their attendance policy is pretty much rigged since they don't don't understand that on time means on time and not six minutes late and are too computer illiterate to solve the issue. They have people coming in to find out why people don't stay with the company and it's parent company is also bankrupt. If you're hired here, good luck. Maybe if you blow Brian or Brad you'll do well. Otherwise 0/10, would not recommend.

I love working for JTEKT and I love the department where I work at but 7 days constantly is too much. And one day off every other weekend is not enough. Heat Treat managers needs to use common sense and not make everyone work 7 days all the time even voluntarily. If it's voluntarily, dont make them work 7 days if they dont want to. If the production schedule is really heavy, then make everyone be on 7 days but if the schedule is lower at least make everyone be on 6 days. That's why I want to go to Inspect because they don't work a whole lot of 7 days like Heat Treat does. I'm ok with being on 6 days more and I don't mind being on 7 days if it's full crew mandatory and if it's a really busy schedule. But not be on 7 days all the time if the schedule is not that busy.

I only have a small problem with this place because it dumped chemicals in my family’s lake a while back (the one immediately behind it. It is private property), and it is noisy at night. In the winter, the leaves fall off the trees and their lights shine brightly across the lake. It also gets even louder. Otherwise, they haven’t bothered us much, which is nice.

Great co-workers who make the job much easier. Management is a sad piecemeal of semi-qualified and incompetent. Workload isn't physically strenuous, but you will be misled about overtime.
