I had Verizon for almost 17 years. Then I found out they over charged my 700.00 for a phone line that didn’t even exist. I had bad service at my house and dropped calls all the time. I know that maybe they didn’t realize they were over charging me, but they have been aware since 1-8-2024 when I switched to a different carrier. They have refused to refund the money or deduct it from my phone bill. They sent my bill to collections and was in the process of taking their last bill amount out of my checking account themselves. So they stole 700.00 from me. I made no less than 20 phone calls to Verizon and visited 2 Verizon stores and ended up talking to the lady in collections, who was finally someone in the United States and spoke understandable English. So their bill has been paid in full now but I would never recommend someone use Verizon unless you want bad service and for your hard earned money to be stolen from you.

Our experience with York store was absolutely amazing. Matt was great! Highly recommend him. He made sure he went above and beyond for us! He deserves 10 stars!!!

A customer that had came in with her toddler daughter was on the phone with her mom while Sebi, the GM, was trying to talk over her. She asked Sebi three times to wait a moment because she was speaking to her mother about the account. Sebi continued to try 58 talk over her. The customer raised her voice, once again telling Sebi that she was trying to speak to her mother that she needed to wait a minute. Sebi and the other worker proceeded to tell the customer that she should be ashamed to have a child. They then tell the little girl that she deserves a better mother. The mother started yelling at them for their disrespectful comments. Sebi and Tish kick the customer and her daughter out of the store. Don’t ever take your business here.

Sunday, store hours 12pm-5pm. Arrived at 12:20pm and the lights were on but nothing was on display and the doors were still locked, it seemed that no one was even there. Tried calling to see if someone would come out, but no one ever did. Fast forward to almost 2 hours later we set up an appointment for 2pm and arrived at around 2:05pm and nothing was different. No one answered the phone, no one set up the store, no one there to unlock the door.

Manager was extremely rude, condescending. She tried charging me almost 3 times more then the Verizon store in Rock Hill. Don't go there! It is worth the 22 minute drive to the Rock Hill Store! The sales rep there was so helpful and I got great customer service!!

Alexis at the Verizon store in York, SC is incredible! I lost my phone through an incident I am not too proud of, may involve the roof of a car… and she helped me with replacing it! She offered budget options, helped us consider current deals and more. I am very happy with the help she offered. If you have any questions, definitely check out her location!

*Update - Sept. 2022 after 6 months of asking her to apply the credit I was offered in February, Elexis enlisted the help of the store Manager Michelle and they finally worked it out, but not before I was told I need to update my Google review!Elexis was deceptive in what was "included" in my free phone. Had to come back for refunds of products I never asked for. She proceeded to tell me "I don't have to give you any money back so Merry Christmas"

Elexis at Verizon in York S.C. was very helpful with the problem my friend was having with his phone.She gave him information about his business account that the Verizon located in Brenham Texas didn't!She was very knowledgeable with everything asked of her.I myself have a different service; that's neither here nor there!I just wanted to let everyone who reads this to ask for Elexis. Elexis, the manager, was friendly, quick to answer my questions, and easy to get along with. She also was very knowledgeable about both mine and other customer’s issues. She was not pushy to sell me something, but rather helping me make the best choice for my situation. I would highly recommend having her help you with any phone problems.
