About The Dog Shop

The Dog Shop is locally owned and operated by Janet Wright, who has over 25 years of experience as a veterinary technician working with animals of all shapes and sizes. We offer a variety of grooming and care services and products for dogs and cats. Our location moved in January 2026, just a few blocks east!     I have an Aussie Doodle who will grow out to look like a sheepdog. I love that look, but come grooming time there is so much matting. Other groomers have shaved very short and the dog is unattractive for months. I came to The Dog Shop and they did a marvelous job! First time I have seen him look this good! Thank you.     The best! Riley is not stressed out about the grooming anymore; he doesn't love it but that's just Riley! He wags his tail and gives Janet kisses so it's all good! And he always looks so cute afterwards! Thanks for the great treatment!
