Poor Customer Service and Unpleasant Experience
The store was dirty and cluttered, with congested aisles and a checkout area piled with random items. When I went to check out, the cashier clearly didn’t want to help — her attitude was unprofessional and she seemed angry the entire time. I decided not to buy a candy bar, and instead of simply putting it back, she snapped at me and said I needed to return it myself. That’s not my job — it’s part of hers. The whole experience felt uncomfortable and unwelcoming. Definitely not the level of service I expect.

So after calling and being told they didn't have what I was looking for, I drove there and found that I had been lied to.... so I did what anyone would do after going everywhere to find it... I bought them all.... when I got to the counter the manager started kissing and moaning about how I bought it all... then started saying the card reader didn't work and what not.. when my child asked if they were hiring she said every DG is hiring and that it's hard to keep help...WELL NO SHIT especially if the managers attitude sucks

The store had what we needed which was cool but the manager working the register was not very kind. I hope her day gets better.

This is, apparently, the place to go smoke. Everyone was outside, standing and crouching, smoking and vaping, about 5 people total. So if youre here to smoke with employees this is the place for you. If you want to shop, however, just go up the street to Lynn's Dakota Mart

Terrible store never stocked got things everywhere should've closed this store and kept the family dollar open at least they were stocked everytime employees just stand around or keep you waiting at the register very poor don't go here because you'll be going somewhere else to get what you need

Horrible customer service 9 times out of 10 you are left trying to find someone to assist and when they can assist there is a good chance they will only be able to accept one form of payment or you may have no option but to do the self-serve regardless of how full your cart is. One of the clerks will often yell out as soon as you enter what are you looking for!? I won't ever shop there again It's not worth the frustration not to mention I have witnessed Several other patrons upset by the lack of customer service.

Store employee pocketed 200 dollars when saying she loaded it on a prepay card. No funds were added she says no refund. But she collected 200 cash from me and then told me nothing can be done about it when the money was not on the card. Be careful shoppers they are good at acting like they're having issues just to steal from customers

Went to pay for items. Sign was up to use self checkout. No clerk around to be seen. Person with me made comment that it really pi**es her of nobody around and we have to use self checkout. Lady from back office came out yelling saying not to use profanity and we should use self checkout. Told her she has bad attitude. Never going back.

This morning I stopped in and vicki the cashier is so pleasant, very helpful, looks you in the eye while talking !! I hope someone tells her so she knows this
