We had to leave for a month for an internship over the summer, and we knew we’d have a title to our motorcycle coming so I went in to put our mail on hold. End of the month when we came back my husband went to pick it up and they said they didn’t have ANY of our mail for the month, she was snippy and rude. So I went in assuming i was just a mistake from the names since I signed the paperwork for it. The clerk didn’t take my name, ID, or address, went back for 10 seconds and came back saying that they didn’t have it, and when I asked if she could check again with all the information she came back in 20 seconds and said nothings there. I asked what I should do because it had a lot of mail and she said “I don’t know, I can’t do anything about it” and when I said that we had a vehicle title she said “K…” with such an attitude like it wasn’t a big deal, like we can’t drive the vehicle till we have our title. I asked if there was anyone who could help with it, and she said “he's not here, he stepped out.” Okay, can I wait for him then I asked, but nope told me he’d be back later and I’ll be called. I called the USPS customer service number and had a service request finished within 20 minutes, apologies for the staffs rudeness, and 2-3 day time frame to locate our MONTHs worth of mail and motorcycle title, but it had to be directed to the local post office again anyway so I guess I just don’t get my mail. Horrible, rude, lazy service. Still haven’t been contacted. UPDATE: got a call front manager after I put in a service request online, not from my request in person. Said the clerk would be delt with and still said the title isn’t with them and we’ll have to talk to the people that sent it. He was overall polite.

Can’t even get a real person on the phone to answer questions about a missing piece of mail, no you get a 15 min long automated robot lady who don’t even give you the option to speak to someone in the actual post office

I couldn't get a package delivered to my friends because their carrier didn't know his own route. Their address is not hard to find, and it is obviously posted on the front of their house. He just repeatedly marked the item undeliverable even though the house and the number are both visible from the end of the street.

so frustrated with the mail delivery in this town. Haven't got mail in over a week! I understand that the weather is an issue, but isn;t working in all forms of weather a part of the job? Obviously since we have not gotten mail, the mail carrier isn't picking up outgoing mail either.....wonder if the USPS wants to cover any bills that didn;t get paid on time because of their inability to do THEIR job!!!!!!!!

I live in a trailer park. I have had a package that is missing. I called the post office and the supervisor keeps telling me that they are working on it. They said it was delivered and it was not in my mailbox or on my porch. And now they have no idea where it is or what happened to it. The new mailman is rude, and I just don't understand why it is so hard to deliver my package to the correct address. I'm mad about it.

Been waiting on a small package for awhile got a notification saying they attempted the delivery but that the driveway and front porch weren't shoveled...they've been cleared all day long, they could put the mail in the mailbox but couldn't put the package in the mailbox or on the front porch that was cleared, very lazy and will be calling in the morning!!!

Second time in less than a week that we've gotten someone else's mail. What's the deal, Brookings post office? Employees can't read or does someone need to tighten the screws on the sorting machine? Doesn't the route worker do a final check before throwing the mail in our box? Question is where is our mail going?

Constantly getting wrong mail, we dont know when we will get mail 12pm or 8pm, sat on a package of mine for 3 days and i live in town. Mail carrier is rude and obviously does not like his job.
