“Clean, quiet, friendly staff, hot breakfast (eggs, biscuits, gravy etc) . Room was large with comfortable beds and very quiet. Hot to. Available but didn’t have time to use this trip!”
“Cozy, clean, and perfect for a winter stay
We stayed at the AmericInn in Chamberlain and had a great experience. The building has a warm, rustic lodge feel — the lobby especially. With the fireplace going, Christmas decorations, and all the lodge-style touches, it felt more like a winter cabin getaway than just another roadside hotel.
Our room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed after a long day of traveling and activities. The beds were comfortable, the space was tidy, and everything felt well cared for. Check-in was quick and the staff was friendly.
One funny learning moment: the microwave-popcorn they sell at the front desk doesn’t fit well in the room microwave — so it won’t pop fully. Not a big deal, just something future guests will want to know before committing emotionally to popcorn night. ?
Overall, the hotel feels safe, inviting, and family-friendly, and it has way more character than most chain hotels. We’d definitely stay again!”

“Very nice motel! Beautiful small town on the Missouri River. Beautifully decorated for Christmas. The motel is spotless, excellent mattress, spacious room and LOVE the chair height toilets! Very friendly staff. Highly recommend!”
