While we did not stay at the resort, my husband and I made a trip from Rapid City to enjoy their cuisine. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff, including wait staff were very attentive.
My husband and I had the surf and turf special, a ribeye with a crab cake and mushroom risotto. The food was very good but I was not really impressed with the crab cake. It was just crab and a tiny bit of mayo, just enough to hold it together. I know there are different variations but there were no veggies in it. I usually enjoy a variation with crunchy pieces of celery, onion and green pepper. It just really didn't have much appeal to it. Other than that, we enjoyed the cocktails and the rest of the meal and we will probably be back, since we have had good experiences in the past..

Did not stay, but we did visit, and eat at the State Game Lodge.. Buffet was excellent!! Just. 21.00 bucks!!!
