Took the 6pm tour Saturday (10/21) and our tour guide was awesome! (I am terrible with names) The tour was filled with the stories and information of someone who truly knows the subject they are presenting, not just some script. We had to wait for the next tour, I would recommend getting tickets ahead of time but we were happy to just go get a couple drinks for an hour,.

Went with a group tour. The museum docent Amber was super knowledgeable. They did an excellent job of covering and interpreting what can be an uncomfortable subject. Each room covers a different decade of the brothel and Deadwood's history.

Brothel had a guest speaker Chris Enss who we were able to get our book purchase personally signed. There were free tours today but would definitely had paid. Very informative, it’s apart of Deadwood’s history. Our tour guide Amber was the best! Very informative and had great guest interaction. She had a great sense of humor. Highly recommend while in Deadwood. It’s not naughty it’s history.

Our tour guide, Amber, did an amazing job of covering an interesting yet tricky topic. She balanced humor and respect while speaking of the brothel's former inhabitants, and she was open to questions and discussions. Honestly, it was the best part of my trip to Deadwood because it captured all aspects of what made the city so unique (and infamous).Even better, this trip through history wasn't gimmicky. The tour guide wasn't dressed like an old timey-time hooker. We got to see the way the brothel was set up throughout different eras, but they did it without being the slightest bit cheesy. Well done!!

The brothel tour was one of the best in Deadwood. This part of the town’s history is quite fascinating and my tour guide (sort of tall, 90s haircut, glasses. I want to say his name is Thomas?) did a wonderful job detailing the social and economic impact that sex work had on the town. The experience was just as much educational as it was entertaining. I came a bit late, but my tour guide stuck around to answer my questions (and I had a lot lol). I appreciate him going the extra mile! It really shows when the staff takes interest in the work they do— they go above and beyond what is required and it makes the experience for the customer that much better. Thank you so much!!

Bald guy was rude, if you want to try to tell people to adhere to nonsensical rules ypu just pulled out of your posterior, maybe enforce it on women as well as men.

Passing through Deadwood with just enough time to catch the final tour of the day at 6:00 p.m. Very glad we did! I wasn't sure what to expect given the sensational background of the town, but the historical society has done a great job of preserving the space and conveying a sense of what each decade of operation was like, room by room. The tour guide (Ray?) was excellent and emphasized the close collaboration between the women and the community. The stories and objects on display were moving as well as informative. A great way to learn about Deadwood's history! Many similarities with Dawson City in the Yukon...

Fantastic experience here! Lots of old-time Americana to enjoy. Tour was a little rushed by the older fellow running the show, but it's understandable for a slow tourist period

We stopped by 4/17 and it was easily the highlight of our time in Deadwood! Absolutely loved the blend of storytelling and history and a lot of the information was super interesting! We didn't wait long at all for the tour to begin and each room we saw and story we heard made key aspects of the West come to life! LOVE LOVE LOVED IT! Thank you!

My wife and I went through the tour this evening and it was amazing! Our tour guide was a kind and humorous soul, and she made the tour so much fun. One of the best/informative tours that I’ve been on. We will definitely be bringing my family through here. They have great books/merch to buy as well!

This is is a must see while you're visiting Deadwood SD. You will leave in awe of all the history learned while on your tour. The tour guides are enjoyable, they know the history and they are so funny. This was by far the best spent hour and half I've had in a long time
