Inexpensive, efficient, no gimmicks. AC had locked up and was destroying the belt. They just put on a belt that doesn't run the AC anymore and didn't try to convince me to repair the AC for $1400. Saved $1300.

Very friendly and terrific service! My car was stolen and they helped me get it back on the road after the police recovered it. I couldn't believe how affordable a transmission and struts are at Nordstroms!!

Brought my car in to have the motor mounts inspected. The service manager, not Russ, wasn't very friendly to my son and I. Kept telling us over and over, unless it is making a noise, there's nothing we can do. I even explained the vehicle was salvage title and that the motor mounts may have been damaged in the light collision as it would make a sound only going into reverse (transmission mount). My 12 year old son, who is a huge fan of the radio show was really bummed. We only wanted our car serviced there because of Russ (my son really likes Russ on the radio and this was a chance to meet a "celebrity" to him.) I can't say I had a bad experience, just wish the guy at the counter was more patient with us.

We had our vehicle (not running) at two other shops due to distance needed to travel to get to Nordstroms. We are located in Minneapolis MN. Both shops charged us a lot with one not finding the issue and the other one said it needed to go to a dealer. The first one WAS a dealer. After spending over $600.00 we towed it down to Nordstroms where we used to go when we lived only 50 miles away. Their schedule is busy "like all shops that are any good" so it took a few days to get it looked at. They told us what their best guess was for free then gave us an exact price to tear it down so they could verify what was wrong. They even showed us a video of the issue, so we didn't have to travel to them. They then gave us an exact price for repairs and ordered the parts. It did take four weeks to get them which sucked but we understand that those things are not controllable in today's world. "The other shops took two weeks before they even looked at our car." We looked for parts ourselves and could not find any either. Before any work was done, they had told us that once they installed the parts and got the engine to run that there may be other issues that could not be seen without a running engine and there was, but the part was going to take another two weeks to get new. They were able to locate a used one at their recycling yard and get it going with a warranty. Overall, five stars for the service and 3.5 stars for the customer bathroom which at least is clean. As cool as their office looks their bathroom looks really old. Sorry, constructive help.Services: Electrical repair

We needed our car fixed because it would not start. We had no way to drop off the car as we have no help with rides. They came to our house after hours 10 miles away to check the car before we had it towed in case it was minor and they could get it going for us. (We have no tow insurance) It turned out to only be a battery issue and since it was a Friday night, they jumped it and suggested that we drive to a shop nearby to get a battery so we could use the car right away. It was very kind of them to do this for us after hours at no charge. We appreciate the kind people and service. We have used them in the past and it has always been very good.Service: General repairs & maintenance

They are the best. They explain everything to you. They call if something comes up and explain what is going on. They explain the cost. So you know what it's going to cost.
