The cabin was great. Clean, stocked with what we needed. When toaster didn’t work we had a new one by late afternoon. The area is so beautiful. The owners are so nice and want to make sure you have what you need. When asked about place to dine out they answered so fast. They do a wonderful job. Would recommend to everyone. No hassle to check in and to checkout. We will be back!!! Thanks again

Oh, what noise. The Aspen cabin is about 10 yds from the very noisy, very busy highway, cars trucks, construction equipment. There were 3 of us in the cabin, and the bottom bunk mattress was a plastic mattress with only a sheet to go on top. Could not sleep on it, all crinkly and sweaty. The fireplace was nice. We had booked for 2 nights, but because of the inability to sleep, we asked if they could try to re-book the place. They said they'd try. At 2 pm that afternoon, we saw the NO VACANCY sign up, so were pleased that we'd get out money back for 1 night. Well, they never rented it, they just put up a no vacancy sign, so it would have been impossible to get a refund, since they didn't even try to rent it. They had our money, so why bother? Avoid this place that doesn't even give you a fair shot. Misleading policy they don't abide by.

The coffee was delicious and the service was excellent. The owner spent time giving us a local knowledge of the area.

Great service and great coffee!!!! We didn’t have the muffins - but there was a group that ordered before us that wanted to shop muffins home monthly - so I will try one next time! Peaceful, comfortable and amazing coffee!

Bold claim, but this might be the best coffee I’ve ever had!! I ordered an iced Sylvan Lake Lavender latte (Lavender + White Chocolate). OUTSTANDING!! Also got an awesome Carrot Cake muffin. The lady serving us was very nice and welcoming. Very cool place!! Gotta check it out if you’re in the area. Only coffee place open on Sundays too.

This is such a unique and adorable coffee shop that’s absolutely worth stopping into a few times if you’re in the area. They’ve got an extensive coffee menu with some tea options as well. Great service as well! We’ll be back!

We had the cottage since there were two of us. It was quaint but a little small. I would recommend a cabin even if for just two. The place was very quiet in April when we visited and that was great. The coffee shop is awesome. The proximity of the accommodation to various tourist areas is very good.

Stayed in the Dakota Cabin over New Year's weekend. Very easy reservation system, they email you instructions for contactless check in. The named (not numbered) duplex cabins are up a slight hill from the office /coffee shop and things with numbers are on the flatter area, the parking is pretty tight at duplexes and I'd recommend arriving early and parking face out from the hill for easy departure. We found an extremely clean cabin that was small but homey and had plenty of room to move about. The new cabins are duplexes with very thin walls, this was our only major gripe but wasn't a deal breaker (neighbors had boots on the wood floor). Decorations are sparse but the couch and queen bed were comfortable and there were plenty of residential type linens. The heat is supplied by a thermostat controlled gas fireplace which worked very well, please know that the upper walls to both bedrooms are open to the main area to allow for heat/air flow. The duplexes come with an electric skillet and Insta-pot type cooker which allowed us to have croissants with bacon and eggs for breakfast. There is no stove/oven but there is a small microwave and there are barbecues just outside the door, rememberto bring paper towels! Only towels, soap and dish soap are provided for cleanup, the dish set was a 5 pc set. The refrigerator is dorm sized so don't buy too much food or Prarie Berry wine or it won't fit. The TV is in the main bedroom but you're on vacation and won't need it. The cabins sit along a fairly busy (especially in summer) paved highway. It was winter and we had the windows shut so it wasn't bad noise-wise at all but I imagine summer traffic could be an issue for light and late sleepers. It snowed while we were here and they plowed very well first thing in the morning. Our checkout was contactless and they emailed a receipt. Would recommend to friends and will definitely stay here again because of cleanliness, homey feel, comfortable bed, and location. It's not the Ritz but its a nice little getaway in the Hills at a good price. Rustic but had all the things you need to enjoy life for a couple days.

Such a cute little place ! Our barista was wonderful and very informative, was less than $10 for two drinks which most people know is hard to find now a days. 10/10 definitely recommend!
