Mount Rushmore National Memorial is a scenic and amazing part of American history. The monument features all four presidents and offers an interesting exhibition on its history. Visitors can walk the presidential trail around the base for different views, though it involves many stairs. The evening program allows seeing the monument lit up at night. While wait times to enter the park can be long, many find the experience very worth it. The restrooms are noted as very clean. Dogs are not allowed on the trail but are permitted on leashes in other areas like the visitors center. The site is praised as a well-maintained and impressive destination.

I hadn't been here since I was a teenager. The area has really developed. Nice gift shops, museum, a good video, and of course the memorial. We went in the evening to listen to the program and see the memorial lit up. Then we went back in the morning. Great experience!
