About Open Hand Learning Center
Through the Open Hand Learning Center, Dr. Soozi Weisflock provides educational support to children and youth. She provides one-on-one teaching to preschool and elementary school students. Focus is primarily on readiness for 3-5 yr olds, and reading, mathematics, and writing for elementary. Dr. Soozi can also provide arts and crafts activities to children and adults. She is also a folk singer and enjoys hosting jams. Dr. Soozi also works with two Head Starts (Lower Brule and Crow Creek) doing early intervention. She also provides contracted services to schools as a School Psychologist/Special Education Technical Assistance,& adjunct teaching for Lower Brule College. Every Child Has Potential! I am a teacher and had a student come to me in 2nd grade, reading and spelling well below grade level. After starting tutoring, she returned in 3rd grade with a whole new set of reading skills and, more importantly, the confidence to strive! The improvement she has made is truly amazing!

Dr Soozie did a wonderful job for our son. I seen benefits almost everytime we had a session. Our community is lucky to have her services available!
