Went hunting there many years back when Jim Bass owned it and had a great experience. Went some years later when the new owners took it over and things had changed for the worse. Poor customer experience, the constant yelling at people got old. I have hunted for over 50 years, I am an experienced hunter and I do not expect to be treated like that. I do hope their deamenor has improved.
I have changed my review from a 2 to 5 star. Wings of Thunder is recently under new ownership by some wonderful people. They do know how to run a hunting lodge correctly. Highly recommend !

Our family stayed at the lodge for our daughter’s wedding in Kimball. Jan was very gracious and helpful accommodating our 60+ friends and family. A great spot for a family weekend.

We rented out the lodge for our wedding weekend for family and friends to stay at. It was the perfect place to hangout and be able to spend time with the whole family all weekend. Us girls got ready in a wing of the lodge and it worked great. The bathrooms have a large mirror in them so many girls were able to utilize it at one time! If you are looking for a place to host a large group gathering or family reunion, this is the place to do it!

Great first experience with Pheasant hunting. Family owned operation in an excellent location. Food sources are in place and the farm is set up perfect for successful hunting. The lodge is very nice and spacious. The meals were awesome. Overall, it was phenomenal!! We will be back with Jan, Madison, Jeff and Lee!! Thanks again to the Bryant family and Wings of Thunder!!

This was my son’s first experience pheasant hunting and the guys made it so memorable! The food was to die for and we loved the atmosphere of the lodge!

5 Star lodge, 5 Star Service, and 5 Star Staff. I can't say enough about Wings of Thunder. I can't wait to bring my son next time! The food they cook is amazing, the lodge is very clean with lots of room. The guide and dogs are hard working and very friendly. The volume of pheasant you see is unmatched. I can't wait to go back!

Wings of Thunder is the finest Pheasant hunting club that I have ever experienced! The ownership and the guides are great. It is hard to explain over a simple review, but the volume of birds, the kindness and friendship of the people, the awesome lodge with great kitchen and great room, modern bathrooms and facilities, it is not comparable to any other place I have ever been to. Always a good time here. The guides are great, the cooks are great, the lodge is great and the hunting is great. You feel like a member of their family the minute you get there.
