This is the best restaurant to get a real Indian Taco and all kinds of other fresh foods. It’s in a great location, friendly atmosphere, and reasonable prices. Try times that are a little off, like just before lunch time or after because it’s busy. I love Cheyenne Crossing, the history of the place, the staff and the food!

Cheyenne Crossing catered our wedding this past weekend & did a great job. I was planning this wedding from 1000 miles away & Dave made it so easy. They were able to accommodate what I was wanting and able to work with my budget! I had a million questions & Dave was great about answering them all. Of course with it being my wedding I didn’t get to eat a ton, but what I had was super tasty & the guests seemed to enjoy it as well! We were all impressed with the expansive salad bar spread. They worked hard to make sure the set up matched the wedding aesthetic & were very prompt & flexible with our timing. Overall was very happy with their catering & would recommend.

This cafe sits at the end of Spearfish Canyon on the spot of a stagecoach stop. It is a cute little place, nothing fancy. Food is tasty, prices are moderate, and the waitstaff are friendly and efficient. I would eat here again if I was in the area.

Very cozy stop in the beautiful surroundings of Spearfish Canyon. There were several groups waiting for a table when we came in but we didn’t have to wait more than 10 minutes for a table. Service was speedy and friendly. We had the Indian taco and the fry bread dessert dish with strawberry sauce (don’t recall the name). Would recommend.

Found this place by accident when we were looking for a place to eat whole we we're visiting Deadwood SD. First let me say don't let the outside fool you, they have excellent food, superb service and a cute gift shop to boot. Prices are comparable.

The indian fry taco was really good. Nice light dough with taco toppings, plenty to share for 2. Do not leave without trying the carrot cake best ever! Excellent service with a smile !

The owner and waitress were both very friendly. Service was good. We both had the Indian Tacos which were very tasty, and were large portions. I would describe them as hearty comfort food.

Food was awesome. Our service however was not. Our server Kim took it up herself to ask if my son (who is not autistic) was autistic. Completely rude and out of line. My childs medical history is not your business. Get some class and learn to mind your own business.

Sourdough pancakes, sumptuous skillets and one of the best fry breads I’ve ever had! Servings are huge so be aware when you order. I could taste the sourdough in the pancakes, not often I get pancakes that have real flavor to them. But the fry bread stole the show for me, meaty inside, with plenty of air pockets as well. I had it with butter, cinnamon and honey, and still had to take half of it home. If I return to the Black Hills region, I would drive 50 miles to eat here again!
