Spearfish Canyon Lodge offers a great location and very beautiful surroundings. Guests found the rooms to be spotless, quiet, and maintained, fitting the rustic ambiance. The service is described as wonderful, with super and friendly staff who are amazing from parking to pillows. Many amenities are offered, from ATVs to Slingshot cycles.
The lodge is a great location for hikes, and the hot tub is a perfect way to relax afterwards. Even during a busy bike rally, the atmosphere was enjoyed, and the staff remained very nice and helpful. Guests appreciated the great customer service, including upgrades when needed. The Black Elk Suite and its amenities were a highlight, with a very nice bed for a good sleep. The restaurant across the street served great and fresh food, with the trout being a perfect and good size serving. Sitting outside offers a wonderful view of the river and mountain. Parking is plentiful for both the lodge and the restaurant. The staff, including those at the lodge, restaurant, and ATV rentals, were super friendly, making for a fantastic vacation.

I'll be honest usually I don't stay in hotels like this, decided to because of the location. So glad I did room spotless. It was quiet, easy in and out , and the front desk , people were super and very friendly. I would stay there again. Most definitely.
