Belvidere East / Exit 170 KOA Journey is an award-winning RV park and campground located just off Interstate 90 in South Dakota. It is a great spot for an overnight stop or a longer stay, perfectly positioned for travels to the Badlands, Black Hills, and Mount Rushmore. The campground is exceptionally clean and well cared for, with updated bathrooms and a well-stocked store. It is quiet and peaceful, set back from the highway and free from light pollution, offering amazing views of star-filled skies and meteor showers. The owners are nice, helpful, and take pride in the campground, providing great service. The park offers full service camping with room for RVs, tents, and small cabins. Amenities include a restaurant with a decent menu offering great burgers, loaded pizza, and breakfast, with free delivery to your site. There is also an arcade, laundry area, a cute playground for kids, and two fenced dog parks. The location is convenient, close to the interstate but quiet, and within walking distance of the nearby attraction, Town 1880. Guests consistently find it to be a fantastic, clean, and relaxing experience.

Nice Campground. Comes up a little short on sites being level. Conveniently located to a major attraction.

Great spot for full service camping. We have a van and took a tent spot with 20amp. Great price, nice folks, and amazing scenery. Even cooked me a breakfast sandwich with awesome coffee. You won’t find a cleaner place that’s for sure!
