The experience I had this time was exactly as great as what I'm used to from this store. A huge thank you to Carter out in the yard and the gentleman running the forklift for helping me load concrete. Very friendly and helpful.

I was looking for a new fly swatter in a different change store. As I couldn't find it I asked for help. The staff told me it was a seasonal item. So I went to my go to store, Menards.

Sorely disappointed. I've spent thousands of dollars in this store. I sent my 17 year old daughter to return a shelf for me that I received with missing hardware. The woman at returns was very condescending and proceeded to inform my daughter how noticeable this should have been. I don't expect less than great items from Menards, so I have never had to stop in the store and inspect for quality. We are all humans and it's perfectly understandable that something was simply missed when packaging it for sale, but all this required was simply accepting the return and refunding my money, not criticism. Hopefully our next experience will be great as normal.

I shopped at the Mitchell store went to the checkout the cashier Alanna was very rude slamed stuff on the counter did not tell me the total and thru my reciept at me. Very unprofessional young lady.

Excellent place for Hardware, Home and Store! Everything you need in one place. I only had one small mishap because they don't advise you when making your purchase, you leave the store with missing pieces and have to go back to the store for them. I think the team could improve in terms of advising clients, especially if they are making large purchases.

Drove from Huron to Mitchell to visit Menards. We were looking for a complete toolbox set. We found one with an 11% Rebate sign. Cavin, store associate, said the rebate was no longer available, but "we pretty much have to give it to ya".Wrong. Todd, who might be a manager of some sort, looked at us and said, "nope". No apologies, nothing. We walked out of the store, easily keeping our $800. Menards card is paid off and will be cutting up the card.We will be visiting Lowes instead with the full intent to walk out with carpet AND a toolbox. All from another town entirely. Can't get help. The help you do gets is absolutely clueless. The place is going to hell. Locally owned hardware stores and lumber yards are super helpful and generally have what you need.
