The gas station took out 50$ for not even 20$ in gas, so I had to be embarrassed and look like an idiot because I couldn't even get myself food for the trip. I'm pregnant and if I don't eat, I get sick. So now I have to spend my next 3 hours puking because your gas station took out more money than I spent and the cashier was frustrated with me for her having to waste or put hot food back. If you're going to take more money than what is used. Post a damn sign! I would have gone somewhere else so I don't have to spend the rest of my trip puking. Thanks for that.

Super nice staff, clean, delicious breakfast sandwiches made locally! Btw we’ve never written a review for a gas station but after traveling across country and stopping at many, this one stood out! The cashier wrapped our sandwiches in a paper towel and she gave us an extra plastic cup to hold our snacks in our cupholders! Small gestures of kindness for weary travelers!

So if you’re in a hurry and rely on tap to pay, don’t waste your time stopping at Dakota Shell.

Most expensive gas in the area and they try to gouge the consumer. The price on their sign isn't for regular gas it's for E-85. Avoid if possible.

Very pleasant and friendly staff. The bathrooms were the cleanest bathrooms that I have ever seen in a gas station in any of my travels, and I have been to hundreds while traveling for work, from Michigan to Texas, to Virginia, to North Dakota, and back to Wisconsin and Michigan . And..... they have REAL, ethanol-free gasoline, which is better for the environment in many ways, far better for your vehicle, and for every gallon of ethanol not wasted in your vehicle, 3 qts of "fossil fuel" is saved, and more important, 26 lbs of corn is saved, containing enough calories to feed 1 human on a 2,000 calorie/day diet for 3 whole weeks. And we have massive worldwide starvation, why? Just a little eye-opening fact, and another reason to stop.

First of all change your hours of operation. By it saying open 24 hours I sat in the parking lot majority of the night so I can get my money debited back to my card. I was going to SF to buy the trim, light fixtures n paint as I have been renovating my sons bathroom as a surprise. Ok stopped n got cigs, wiper fluid, something to eat n I felt lucky I asked for a lottery ticket. I was charged $200 for the ticket anyways overdrew me overdraft fees. It freaked me out I have high anxiety n I’m a single mother on a budget. I know it was a mistake but I’m postponing my son’s surprise cause I’ve been in Oacoma parking lot all night. My lucky ticket bit me in the you know where.
