I purchased a full grown egg laying hen from these ppl well the hen started to crow so it was a rooster they sold me. I went to see if they can replace it or give me a hen because they said they don't have males ever they give them away. Well they said all sales are final it's printed on the receipt after I already paid they put this on a receipt. They said I should had known I was buying a rooster when they guaranteed me it was an egg laying female I purchased for $50. Then I was recorded with a cell phone leaving the area because they burned me and didn't want to take a loss for there mistake they told me to take it as a loss and they couldn't take that loss it was my fault not there's for not doing further research and if I didn't like it but chickens else were.

Really disappointed with how we were treated at this store! I'm not 1 to bash a small business, but take your $ elsewhere! Service is very rude and will not honor basic return policies. Seriously don't go here if you want try something out for your horse and return it if it doesn't work out

Best place for feed and supplies! The staff is all so friendly and helpful. They have gone above and beyond with some items and special ordered them for me. I usually go in but have had deliveries in the past and my hay was stacked perfect where I had asked them to without me even needing to be there. This is my go to place for all my animals supplies.

This is now the third time we have called the livery ahead to see if they have something in stock and told yes and showed up and they don't. With the price of gas this is super disappointing. They look in their system but don't actually go look. I have tried to support small businesses but this one just lost ours!

Over the past couple of years the Livery has had everything I needed. The service is always friendly and the prices are fair.

AN HONEST MISTAKE OR A DELIBERATE SCAM? If you ever decide to buy or sell anything on consignment from The Livery, the buyer will get screwed and the seller will get cheated. Make sure you check their math. They will cheat you. The Terms and Conditions for consignment agreement basically state that there will be a 30% charge above the asking price. That sounds simple. For example, you have a saddle that you want to sell for $350 and they tell you that is "in your pocket", then they add the 30% making the total sale price $455. So far so good. But if they ask if you are willing to reduce the sell price, (well this is when it gets tricky). Say you agree to take $75 off your saddle price reducing the sell price of that saddle to $275.00 expecting to now get $275 in your pocket and then they add 30% commissions to that the new selling price should be $357.50, RIGHT? NO, they take the seventy-five dollars off the original sale price of $455 making the new selling price $380.00 then they subtract 30% off of that equaling $266.00 then Mike tells you, the seller will get a check $262.50. Are you following me here? Where did they get $262.50? Either way you are NOT getting the $275 you expected when you signed the contract- you just got CHEATED? And now the buyer is paying more and the seller is getting less- giving "The Livery" really a hefty profit of a lot more than 30%. It does not compute. So, I ask you, is it an honest mistake or a deliberate scam? CHECK THEIR MATH!!

We are new to Ramona and had never stepped foot into The Livery. We purchased 2, just about 6 month old, Rhode Island Red hens from The Livery on November 1, 2020. One of the sisters never seemed too healthy. She was slower, lethargic, and just different. On November 21, just 3 weeks after we brought her home, she started having seizures. She passed on November 22nd. Our 9 year old son was heartbroken. On December 6 her sister passed away after having difficulties passing an egg. Our 9 year old is now devastated. While I don't care about the money we've lost here (we paid $40 per for these hens), I am more concerned about how our 9 year old is broken with the loss of his 2 buddies. The Livery advertises that there are no returns on birds....they likely know that the animals they sell aren't healthy. Buyers beware!

My "go to" feed store. They are always well stocked, they are really nice about loading your purchases, delivery is on time, prices are fair, staff is friendly, they have good COVID protection without making you crazy. A really good, low drama, feed store.

I have never done, or experienced what I am about to tell you. My boyfriend and I came in one Saturday morning for breakfast. We were told by a waitress walking by, to pick wherever we would like to sit. We sat at a table and were told by a hostess who handed us our menus, that they were out of "touch-less menus". Never heard of this holographic anomaly, but okay. We perused the menus and quickly made our choices. The hostess came over and took our drink orders. Both soft-drinks. Drinks quickly came back and hostess disappeared. No sweetener offered for iced tea and she was so quick I couldn't even ask for straws, because I prefer not to drink out of plastic cups, especially now. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. The place was EMPTY. Maybe 5 tables full? NOT ONE TIME did a waitress come over, walk by, take our order or acknowledge our existence. We waited so long, WE LEFT. We didn't touch our drinks, because again, no straw and no sweetener. It felt like 15-20 minutes, but I could not tell you exactly the time we waited. It was almost comical. My boyfriend and I are locals, with three children and we will NEVER visit this establishment again. Complete lack of basic customer service and embarrassment to the restaurant industry. Businesses are struggling after this pandemic; you would think they would welcome customers back with open arms and, I don't know, A MEAL, when you visit their restaurant. Shameful.

Went there yesterday for 1st time because happened to be in Ramona. 1st question was are the menu's sanitized. Answer was yes. Sat by the kitchen output station. Menus were repeatedly taken out and replaced with no cleaning. Saw that tables were wiped with a rag taken out of a the same bucket repeatedly, same rag same liquid. Only table tops were wiped. No chairs or benches. Now the food--chicken fried steak was all batter and only paper thin meat.
