“A must stop for anyone visiting or who lives in the area and has not stopped in. Love the building and originalty that you have kept. Highly suggest buying and gifts for yourself or others here. When I have $ will be purchasing and trying the huckleberry licorice. Beautiful handmade art such as paintings, furniture, decor, etc. Also beautiful puzzles and books. Child and dog friendly as well as very informative about the history of the Black Hills. Thank you to the wonderful and helpful staff as well as Mr. Hillenbrand for funding such a great place of history as well as free place to experience.”

“What a wonderful place! Quality art for sale, plus a large, airy place for the artists to work. Extra good vibes and friendly staff. Each piece you buy comes with a little bio of the artist.”

“The place to go for all of your framing needs! The staff is incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. The store itself carries a wide selection of local art and unique items. All around a great and necessary stop when in the area!”

“Cool alley full from ground to roof on multiple buildings, of colorful, ans vibrant graffiti. Some more tasteful than others but neat none the less. I think its super cool the city allows a space for creativses to run wild. I did see that graffiti time is ONLY between 6AM-9AM... so thats very interesting to me. Enjoy your walk while your in the area!”

“All original art pieces by several Black Hills area artists. Whimsical sculpture and drawings, paintings and some photography and very unique jewelry. Many materials, such as metals, minerals, wood and rock are collected from the area. Prices from $35 (jewelry) to the low $1,000s. Some large standout pieces. The owners are very knowledgeable about each artist's story and are not at all pushy. I would love it if they would offer small workshops on technique. (I am a glass mosaic artist.) They said that after things settle more after Covid they are considering it. The Italian place (Sabatino's) is said to be quite good but they were not open at 6pm on a Monday. (?) Menu is "scan only," which is a turn off to some. The Firehouse across street has been around a long time and serves local brew. Visitors in the area should also check out the Suzie Cappa gallery, which features unique and affordable art by artists who live with a variety of disabilities.”
