Pushed for leather treatment package that they sell with all vehicles, and its "required". The package sounds great, but it should be optional not required. That adds another $2000+ to the purchase price. More interest... more tax.. Not cool. This was reiterated by the same salesperson multiple times that they won't take that off. Pretty much said go fly a kite not gonna a buy vehicle here.

I had the worst and most horrible experience with this dealership at Rapid city. They sold me a vehicle that was due for servicing 4 months ago and the tire level was so low (confirmed by the same dealership at another location). The car had no spare tire as well, which was not much of a problem for me anyways. I called the manager whose name starts with a J to explain and they specifically said ‘I should go return the vehicle and that they would cancel the check’. Upon returning the vehicle, they stated they shredded the check but wouldn’t reach out to my bank to notify them (despite the bank mailing the check directly to them initially). My bank required a call/email from the dealership to cancel the loan but the manager was very adamant. The sales person wouldn’t even pick my calls or respond to my texts since the return. THEY ARE THE WORST! Their customer service and professionalism is ZERO. Patronize them at your own risk.

If I could give no stars or negative, because that is what they deserve, I would. Long story short, we have a recall on our car, something went wrong and we COULD NOT put it in park and had it towed to the Kia in Rapid City SD. Of course, the recalled part is not available. Two weeks later we call and are told the service tech who looked at it "called out and their notes were locked in their case" and to call back the next day. When we did we were told now that same service tech is out to lunch and they will call us back as soon as he is back. Finally, we are told it was the battery. We pay almost 500.00 for this and get the vehicle that night. The next morning, less than 12 hours later, the car breaks down, with the same issue but allowed us to put it in park. I call and im frustrated and I am told by the SERVICE TECH who answered, after my husband had to leave several messages, that they "stand by there work" and they will have it towed there to see what happened. I said "Will I have to pay for the towing?" And I was told "No, we will liquidate that". Now we're told it is the alternator, less than 12 hours prior, the diagnostic that we paid over 150.00 for did not catch that and after paying almost 1300 for that, I see we are charged the towing fee of 242.00. I call and I am told by the manager, starts with a D but I'd rather not put a name stated, "I am inclined to believe my service techs that they did not tell you that..." I even knew who they used for towing because the SERVICE TECH TOLD ME! I DO NOT RECOMMEND GOING THERE, they called me a liar and then took so much of my money. WORST PLACE EVER. If you want to be called a liar and get money taken from you, go there, otherwise, I'd stick with your regular mechanic.

Made an appointment to look at a car and when I got there, I was told the car is not even here, it’s out as a loaner and they are not telling the person to bring it back unless I buy it. Super unprofessional!!

I wish there were 10 stars to provide. Story short - I’m from San Diego. I broke down in South Dakota. My Kia service station was worthless during my breakdown and so was Kia Corporate. The car was towed to rapid city. Instantly Darrick and Jared from Rapid City Kia took charge and explained the process. A process my own service station would not explain to me. Not only did they do their job with the greatest care and professionalism they continued to monitor my situation and provided me updates thru out the 2 month long process. So I state with great personal pride - you want service speak to Darrick and Jared from Rapid City Kia. Glad to know you gentlemen. Don’t know how proper it would be, but I would enjoy speaking to their managers personally - just to let them know what outstanding folks they have!!

Jerid, Raymond, and Mike all helped me out a bunch when traveling in South Dakota. I ended up cracking a rim and needing the tire taken off and put back on after repair. They stayed past service hours to make sure I was good to go back to Wisconsin the next day. Jerid tossed out some great recommendations of things to checkout on the way home and introduced me to perhaps the finest cheese curds I’ve ever eaten!

Persistence does not always pay off. A week or so ago I had filled out the form in their website because I was interested in possibly trading in my car, nothing official just putting some feelers out. Their salesman, Ben, was persistent to the point of annoying. I had some personal matters come up and have not had time to respond. Which you would think after the two phone calls, two voicemails, several text messages, and two emails (all within the span of 12 hours) went unanswered that maybe the person had something come up or something happened. I’ve finally had a moment to breath and was going to respond to one of the emails when I received another email today that seemed to have quite a bit of attitude/snark. The persistent attempts to contact me were off putting to begin with, but the final email sealed the deal for me on going somewhere else.

Got me in right away even though I showed up early. Very courteous and efficient. I was helped by Jerid at the counter and Jake did the repair. Both were so awesome words cannot describe accurately. And Tom was great at the parts counter. He too was friendly and efficient.
