Every encounter with Black Hills Powersports (phone, email, text) has been absolutely positive. Nate, Jerry, Kelsey, Alex, Gina (I think), all of them have customer service on the top of their mind. Additional thoughts - I had a special request to have the transfer paperwork sent to a licensing agent, since I was going to be out of town. Kelsey had no concerns about that, and everything went well. Furthermore, the motorcycle was the absolute best value in the entire nation. There was one bike in that model that was cheaper, but it was three years older, and had 20k more miles. Finally I'd like to say that you can comfortably make your purchase from Black Hills, knowing that you will be in good hands.

I have to thank Black Hills Powersports and their staff. There were a couple guys there that really helped me out of a jam during my road trip to Mt. Rushmore, and put new tires on my bike on a Saturday of a long weekend with literally no notice. I am grateful, You guys are great! So thank you.

Great folks and they didn’t gouge me on the price of a battery. My 5 year old battery gave out up at Mt Rushmore during rally weekend. Called BHPs and they had my battery (GL1800) in stock. Paid for it over the phone, they filled it, charged and had it ready to go when I got there (after using the park ranger jumper cables). Cool store, great inventory and we even demoed some Royal Enfield’s that were set up in the parking lot. Thanks BHP for taking care of me.

so I would only recommend buying a new bike from them if you get the expensive service plan. if you don't they cant tell you the price of your fist service. I asked how much it costs the day I bought the bike, when I scheduled the appt, and when I picked it up the price went up each time I asked ending up roughly $150 more than I was told the first time. when I was leaving I from the service pickup a salesmen asked me how is it going and I told him exactly this. a cupule months pass and I get a voucher from them that says free factory oil from them and I think that its a nice gesture. I schedule an oil change over the phone and I asked if the voucher is good for an oil change and they said yes it is. appointment day comes I load up the bike and take it there and at this point I find out its only good for factory oil not the filter or labor so I cancel my appointment take the voucher over to parts and ask for the oil. the voucher is not good for oil either its only for scheduled oil changes.the filter is $15the oil (royal purple for example) $22the labor watch a you tube video and just do ittotal $37now for themthe filter is $15the oil is $22the labor $130 an hr.shop rags fee $10total $177 for an oil changetotal with voucher $155the only reason I am complaining about this is because every interaction I have with this dealer makes me feel like I have been mislead. Its a shame because I love my bike ill just teach myself how to work on italso don't bother setting up a appt because they cant hold there end of it

Those guys really let me down. It was disappointing and discouraging. They were extremely rude and dishonest. I'll never go there again. Horrible experience. I feel so disrespected and insulted. My Dad is getting old and they really wanted to take advantage of him by being dishonest. I was so upset. No integrity or honor. Horrible.

I made an appointment to have my four wheeler serviced with an oil change and differential fluid change. Made the appointment a week early, dropped it off a day early and picked it up the day after it was supposed to be serviced. When I arrived, They told me that they still had not serviced it because they were behind. I live several hours away which is why I made an appointment and was very punctual but what is the point if they can’t hold up there end of the deal. Ended up purchasing the materials to do it myself and received a whopping 10% discount for the inconvenience. I can’t rate the store on their other services other than the service department but I definitely do not recommend.

Pretty terrible experience.Sounded so great, I was traveling on my adventure bike from Colorado and needed a better set of road tires. I called and asked for the set of Shinko 705's. Guy had to check, calls me back stating "we have the shinkos" I was ecstatic...After scheduling for 2 days later, we were in business and my travel plans were still in tact. They then proceeded to sell me on an oil change I didn't need for an additional $150+.When I arrived to pick up my bike... I noticed it had shinko 700's (knobby offroad tires) as opposed to the 705's (no knobs, street tire) which I made mention of immediately. I was given no other option, and with plans to be 6 hours down the road at another destination by the next morning... I left, old tires in hand, and new tires I never asked for on my bike.. and a $500+ bill.I reached out and they offered to rectify things by rebalancing my tires on my loop back thru the area. I've emailed the supposed "manager" multiple times and received zero response since. Icing on the cake, they even charged me for disposal of the tires that they saved for me to take (at my request) to avoid that additional fee.Quite literally from top to bottom the worst service I've ever received from any powersports dealer I've dealt with.

The Black Hills Powersports was a great experience from beginning to end! My first day shopping I met Tanner and explained I needed something that would be on dirt roads mostly but still needed it street legal. He went over all my options and explained the different things that the different bikes would do and not do. The second: day I came in and talked to Tanner at length about one specific bike. Again, I learned a lot. The third day: Tanner put together my paperwork for the bank; after that was finalized, I RANG THE BELL! Everyone cheered! Tanner then introduced me to other key team members, in case, I needed their assistance in the future. Then he showed me my bike! Great Experience with these guys!

A Great Place to buy your toys. The staff is very friendly. I stopped in to get some oil and filters for our bikes. I was pleasantly surprised at how helpful and friendly everyone was. So, a few weeks later, I decided to stop in again to see what toys they had available. I really wasn't looking to buy anything in particular because we were in the process of moving out of state. A very nice older gentlemen (ok he wasn't really much older than me) came up to me and we just started talking away about all kinds of stuff. Bob, showed me everything from scooters , sportbikes, dirtbikes and Side-by-sides. Bob told me about his family and their UTV adventures. Sounds like fun. We laughed a lot. He sparked my interest in getting a Side-by-side, a Kawaski KRX 1000. My wife and I ride ATV and motorcycles but never a side-by-side, so I went home and told my wife I met a very friendly sales manager at Black Hills Powersports who is highly recommending us to get a Side-by-side. So, we did some research on YouTube and returned back a week later and met salesperson Tanner. He was friendly and very professional. Tanner was very familiar with the KRX. Tanner then got Bob, and they both worked together to deliver one of the best buying experiences we have had. Although the staff at Black Hills Powersports knew we were moving out of state and most likely not be returning anytime soon, we were both treated exceptionally well. Thank you to Bob, Tanner and Dan. We really appreciate your dedication to customer service.

These folks are amazing to work with. Everyone’s so friendly and willing to teach and show you things about bikes. Favorite thing was the willingness to teach you what you don’t know when you ask about something. They have an amazing plethora of choices to taste. You like Royal Enfield! They have near most of what you can choose from. They have ninjas, dirt bikes, quads, gators, some unique vehicles and all the accessories and parts that you need! I’d sponsor them any day! The staff you know me from coming in a couple times. Y’all are great!

I purchased a 2020 R1 from Black Hills Powersports. Over the phone, I worked the details of the deal, making sure that all maintenance would be good to go and was promised a front to back fluid swap and general maintenance before purchase. I live in Colorado and drove up to Black Hills. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by the salesperson and taken to look at the bike. I was shocked to see that the brake-fluid was exceptionally dirty, oil dirty, and the maintenance promised was not delivered. I asked to get a break on the price because of this and because I was paying with cash, and I got no wiggle-room. Upon purchase, I bought canyon dancers that were not included after purchasing this not-cheap bike. I was also promised the second key and a service manual that has yet to come two months later. My title paperwork was then incorrect from the dealership and the DMV needed to communicate with them to get this issue fixed. In addition to this, after all of the troubles, I had to pay the $7.40 titling fee as the dealership refused to take care of this. After all this heartache, I would not recommend this dealer. Over promised, under delivered, and incorrect paperwork. The bike is in great shape, but the service I received was at most sub-par.
