I just saw this place driving by and decided to stop in. So glad I did, I just had THE BEST massage ever! I added a 30 min reflexology, it too was awesome! Great service, super friendly staff. Highly recommend!!!

Since moving to their new location was not that impressed. Once I was in the room ready for my 60 minute massage, you could hear all the phone ringing and talking right outside the door. Very hard to to stay relaxed in that sort of climate.

This salon is no longer open, but it's owner Annette is still around and does great hair, massages, waxing, and facials. Just google the blue sky salon, and the website will reroute you to her new site. I'm new to the area (from the west coast) and was looking for someone who was current with hair trends. Annette teaches at the local academy so she is definitely current. I got a great cut and color from her and she is my new "go to" gal for anything beauty.

When I tried to enter the building the main door was locked and when I was finally let in I was told they lock the front door when they are in back. I thought that was odd for a business to lock the front door when they are open. I was then led in back for my haircut by Shelagh. When she washed my hair she didn't put a towel behind my neck so it is still sore today from the sink. I asked her advice on the haircut. She said layers so thinking that she knew what she was doing I let her do it. I ended up with a generic haircut that I hate. I look like a high school kid who got their first layered cut. She also held the blow drier on my scalp too long and burned me. On top of that when my haircut was done I found a piece 4 inches longer than the rest of my hair and she said I was pulling my hair from the back forward. Then when I was done it was still there and I started to feel upset about the experience and she asked me if I was going to cry in a snotty way. She took me back to cut the hair she missed and went off about how I was pulling my hair forward and that is why that was there. I told her it was 4 inches longer than the rest of my hair then she rudely said, "Well, I'm not trying to argue with you.". I also paid 26 dollars for this cut and it did not include the style. I have never been to a salon that did not. This was the worst salon experience that I have ever had.

Visiting from out of town I was lucky enough to find the Blue Sky Salon and Day Spa. Great haircut, great people and great price. Couldn't be happier with my haircut. Keep up the good work ladies.

Blue Sky Salon and Day Spa is the top salon and day spa in my eyes in Rapid City South Dakota. The service is awesome, Annette is the owner and she always takes care of you to accomodate your time and schedule. Everytime I travel back to the Black Hills I make sure to stop in and get one of her massages. She is top notch!! Not to be so cliche but South Dakota I am sorry you have no idea about hair, but at Blue Sky it seems they keep up on their trends, and that is a good thing. So next time you are there or if you a native get your Spa on..
