I will never come back here!!!! Treated rudely and was threatened to have the cops called on me over some day old donuts. I didn't receive my change back and was told to leave!!! I was being charged 1.29 for each donut in a box. No markings on a price and or on the case next to the donuts??? I was told I should already know this??? I told him I live 300 miles away and don't know store procedures. He said well now you know!!! I told the cashier I didn't want them bcuz nothing was marked anywhere??? That's what aggravated him when I to him I wasn't paying that much and no signs anywhere starting such news??? I told him I wanted my change from my buying my soda and he refused and kept telling me he was calling the police. Poor customer service skills :(

Store #8 TENA MANAGER seems to truly care for her employees and my dealings with her were strictly via telephone but was duly impressed

I’m a regular customer at the corner pantry. Coming from a retail background myself I can tell you that listening to nothing but Christmas music for 8 or 10 hours a day is straining to say the least and borderline torture for some people by the time Christmas actually arrives! Nothing puts the grinch into Christmas like Christmas music 24/7! A bunch of bah humbug when it comes time to actually enjoy it with your family. Have some empathy for your employees and let them turn it off after Christmas! You have a great staff, give them the respect they so deserve. Turn off the Christmas music after Christmas! You have a good store, one star for you for the mistreatment of your great staff and customers who are more than overwhelmed with the tunes by now! What a turnoff!

I recently broke my ankle in a park near here. While in shock I hobbled into this store to get ice. Walking was difficult and I was clearly struggling. I asked the person at the front if they had ice because I was pretty sure I had seriously injured myself. She said Yep and pointed to the back of the store. I'm not sure why, but I was expecting someone would come out from behind the counter (as there were no other customers and at least two employees were working) and retrieve a bag of ice for me, but as it was they all watched me hobble to the back of the store and then hobble up again with a bag of ice nearly passing out. What strange customer service. I've thought about it every day since and tell people the story of when I broke my ankle in Rapid City how strangely rude the South Dakotans were. Especially at the Corner Pantry.

Just came to get gas and was told I have to 'pay at the pump'. With a debit/credit card?! Poor service.

Save the frustration and get your gas across the street at Safeway or down the street at Concord. The clerk wouldn't turn on the gas pump for me and said I had to prepay. After waiting in line for 10 minutes to pay she said I couldn't use my coupon at that pump and would have to move to another pump. If you want rudeness and frustration this station is for you.
