First Interstate Bank is a joke. They locked my Zelle feature and external transfer. I called customer service three times and spoke with three different people who said they cannot help me. One guy I talked to had a serious attitude and told me the only way to resolve the issue is to close my account. Either their customer service agents need some serious training or this bank keeps your money from you. Needless to say, I bank with someone else now. Don’t waste your energy dealing with this bank who doesn’t care about the needs of their customers or their incompetent customer service agents that give you the run around.

As I needed to urinate I walked into the bank noticing a sign on the bathroom (employee only) I quickly acted and identified myself as a bank employee in order to access the restroom.I then checked on my auntie after using the restroom (Yes I washed my hands). The banker then asked my auntie for an envelope. AGAIN I quickly acted and told the teller I was her security.2 Stars because my lucky ? number is 2 ?

i have been on hold for over an hour on 3 separate occasions and STILL have NOT spoken to a real person. also their hold music/automated apologies are the most annoying thing i’ve ever had to endure.

Absolutely the most ridiculous bank I have ever dealt with. Seriously, quibbling over whether Mr Fakename E Fakey (not the actual name in question) was the same as Mr Fakename Eliza Fakey, despite the SSN being identical. 2 hours, and I left finally because the level of incompetence was worse than standing outside in 15 degree weather with -5 wind-chill.I wonder if they're really that by the book, or were trying to buy time to fix a screw up on the account. Now I remember why I closed my business accounts with them.

Been with FIB since 2008 and only within the last couple years has the customer service gone to hell. When calling in we have tried talking to other people but the 2 specific employees that must be 'answer phone people' have been difficult to talk to.Other issues have started to come up only in the last year that my wife and I never had before, not much has changed at our end but FIB new policies and guidelines have been not easy to work with for our personal banking needs.Sorry to say that not one single higher up representative of this bank has been able to address any of our questions or concerns in a reasonable or satisfying way. The only thing we could do was close accounts and leave.

Great people! Really good bank for Small business, the way banking should be!
