Went there about 10:30 am. The place is kind of dreary. On the dark side. I was shopping for a TV. No one even talked to me, much less helped. I don't need to go back. I suggest you give it a pass.

salesmen help pretty quickly shopping for a washer they had a good selection from top-of-the-line to economy prices were about average unfortunately I could not finance the washer due to the fact I do not have a bank account I would like to thank I believe his name was Orion but I would have liked to finance a washer through them definitely recommend thank you

We recently purchased a new washing machine from Karl's in Rapid City. I was very pleased with the customer service and follow up assistance from Teresa, Tanner, Dylan, Mark & Cody. I do not think we would have gotten this service and from one of the mega stores. Thank you team Karl's. Washing a load as I write!

Ordered a defective part for our 2 year-old Whirlpool range that was to be ready on a Friday. No one answered the phone at the store on Friday so I called on Saturday. Ha! Service Dept closed until Monday and NO ONE else in the store can see if the part is in! Some great customer service. In the meantime, gas company shut of my gas to the stove until it is fixed. Very disappointed.

Purchased all new appliances in December 2020 at the recommendation of our home builder. Karl’s had a large selection at good prices, and they were able to get all appliances in stock quickly. Home was completed in July 2021 and that’s when the problems started. The day of delivery we received a call from the salesman that they couldn’t find our refrigerator. After some investigating, it was discovered that they had sold our fridge to another customer and never bothered to order a replacement. Fortunately, they had the same model at their Spearfish location but said they couldn’t get it delivered for another two weeks! After speaking with the salesman and store manager several times, they arranged for the fridge to be delivered the week after the original delivery date. The delivery guys never showed up when they were scheduled and never called to let us know so we wasted hours sitting around waiting for them even though they were “guaranteed” to be there that day. When the appliances were finally delivered, the microwave and dishwasher were left in boxes in the kitchen because we were never told delivery and installation were separate and the delivery guys scratched the exterior door frame bringing the refrigerator inside. After using the appliances for about two months, our carbon monoxide detectors were set off and the fire department was dispatched to our home by our security system. We discovered that the gas range was NEVER CONVERTED FROM NATURAL GAS TO PROPANE DURING INSTALLATION!!! Not only is this a huge health and safety hazard, but the inside of my brand-new oven was blackened with soot and discolored in places from the gas not burning properly and now looks old and used. Called the store and talked with three different people about the oven, including the store manager, and never once received an apology. All they offered to do was get us the conversion kit which I then had to install myself. Extremely disappointed in the service we received and the indifference shown by management after spending $10,000 on new appliances.

Customer service isnt great. Made a return the next day after purchase which they did return for me but i got attitude after that. Told the older lady thank you and i appreciate it and she just sighs at me....wow.

Our dishwasher went out and I drove 50+ miles to Rapid City because there are a number of appliance stores there. After many failed attempts, I finally found a Bosch dishwasher at Karl's in Rapid City, and had a pleasant and helpful interaction with the salesman, Orion, there. Since I hadn't expected to bring the unit home with me I had a smaller car, and left the store with the thought that they would transfer their in-stock item up to their store in my home town. I later learned that, instead of prompt transfer to Spearfish, a higher-level manager had decided to keep the stock in Rapid and transfer a unit from Sioux Falls, 400 miles away, in "three or four weeks." Given that "Profit First/Customers Last" mentality, I drove 100+ miles and picked it up myself. Had it not been for that experience, this would have been a 5-level review!

After having the last two fridges we bought from Karl’s needing repair in under a year, today topped the cake for me!Not only have we had to be out of fridge for six weeks each time we’ve needed repairs(3 times), but today they were rude and short when I was assertively telling them what I wanted them to do with my fridge.Six weeks ago when we called to get our fridge repaired my husband asked if it would be OK to lay the fridge down when we drove it up. They told him they would absolutely be no problem.Today, when I, a female, went to pick our fridge, I asked them to lay it down in the back of the truck. I was told that I was making a mistake and that they hoped my fridge would work when I got home. I even expressed e we would let it sit a few days. I was again told I was wrong. They were short with me when I told them kindly and assertively I would do it my way. They were again short when they tried to load it on its side versus back and I asked them to lay it down.I am very disappointed in the fact that when my husband asked them about doing the same thing there was no qualms about it. However, when I asked them to do what my husband asked them, it was an issue.I can’t help but wonder if this is just because I’m a female? Do better!

Only one star. Should be none. Purchased expensive (to me) Traeger grill. It failed after 18 months. Book says warranty 3 years. Karl's store where I bought it says they can't help me. 800 number for Traeger says not taking calls. I won't shop at Karl's ever again even though I have made purchases there many times. Just sad. Traeger said they offer training for stores but Karl's makes the choice to not have it. Turns out other places choose it. Scheel's would work on that grill. Karl's does not back this item so there site saying they service what they sell is NOT true but a lie.

Give one star to bad business from day one ordered a fridage took over a year so we cancelled it then few weeks later they call And say got your fridage. So went back picked it up has they delivered it and put big dent in it said They order another one remind you this is last summer still nothing called noone return phone calls and called few weeks ago again now person in charge out of town. I will not ever deal with this company ever again. They lie and Dont have good customer service at all. I will get my door fixed one way or another.

We used Karl's for our refrigerator and range. They gave us a very competitive price and the customer service was amazing. There are a lot of concerns with shipping and manufacturing in general in this day and age. We ordered in February and it got delivered in May. The length of time was frustrating but nothing that the local Karl's could do. Irregardless they were really great at communicating with us and keeping us up to day on the estimated arrival. The delivery team was careful with our walls and floors, installed everything thoroughly and very friendly. Theresa helped us out ALOT and she is is amazing.!!

We purchased the top of the line washer and dryer from Karl’s about 8 months ago. started making noises at about 5 months. We called and before they could get anyone here it quit making noise so we cancelled appointment. Started acting up again in another month so set up an appointment. One month out. When repair man came it worked fine but he said they’d order a new pump. Then scheduled us another month out! Now the machine has quit with a tub full of clothes in it and a tub of water. Called in again but still a month out till pump gets in and they don’t even know if it is the pump. I don’t think we’ll buy from them again. If you can’t service your product don’t sell it!
