Not exactly sure what the issue was with staff but I went in to do some Xmas shopping & not one staff member greeted me. I walked around, patiently waiting, no one said a word. A man walks in about 20 minutes after me & he's greeted immediately & asked how they can help him & inform him of sales etc. At that point I just leave. Can't help but wonder if it's because I'm a person of color. Won't catch me in this store or shopping from Kay's ever again.I work too hard for my money to spend it with companies who's employees treat people unfairly because of their appearance or color of skin.

I must admit that my experience at Kay Jewelry in Rapid city was a Hit Job, they got rid of the girl who sold me on 4200 dollars, then they hit me for more fees for their mistake, this place should not exist, complete con job at Kay Jewelers……Rapid City …….

I somehow bent my ring while packing up my mom's house. I was not sure how to get it fixed. I walked into Kay's Jewelers to ask how I could get it repaired. Much to my surprise, they were able to fix it on the spot with no charge! The staff was very friendly and extremely helpful. I would recommend anyone looking for a local jeweler to give them a try.

Farricia was an outstanding host. She paid attention to all our needs and has a great personality. If you lose her as an associate you would have lost in a valuable employee.She also was very knowledgeable in all your product no matter how long her service to you. She was very attentive to all the needs we needed. She was not pushy in her sales but however she was able to direct us to what we were looking for.

Went into the store to look for a 25th anniversary piece.Half of the lights in the store do not work so you cannot see with clarity what you are looking at.The blonde lady there looked like she had just come off a two day drunk and gotten out of bed 15 minutes before I arrived.The kid trying to help me had no knowledge of what I was trying to describe and even less about the pieces in the case.Place was dirty and uninviting.I have spent thousands there and will not spend another cent.Riddles treats you much better.

If you go to this Kay Jewelers, only ask for Vidal. The rest of the workers are stuck up and discriminate based on what you are wearing and what you look like. Waited forever to be serviced just to be treated like garbage. Go elsewhere if you can help it!!

Two months of having my wedding ring, the diamond fell out, was told I’d have to pay $400 to get it fixed despite me having it for less than two months. I called corporate and they said they would comp it because they agreed it shouldn’t have happened. I won’t even get into the nightmare of customer service in that store where I stood at the desk for 42 minutes while the lady figured out what to do (with an attitude). I get my ring back and the stones around the repair are now discolored black and the back of the setting is scratched. I get email from store manager asking about my complaint in their survey, I send her a response and I never hear back. I suggest going to Riddles or really any other place. I’m so disgusted by the service and repair.

I called the store and spoke with Crisstina about a contour band I wanted to complete my ring. I gave her enough information she was able to narrow my choices down to 2. She is very kind and knowledgeable. The thing is I don't even live in SD I just visit there. She had it sent to my home in a short time. If you need someone ask for Crisstina!
